Revelation 22:1-21 God’s Last Message to Humankind

Revelation 22:1-5

And he showed me a pure river of water of life , clear as crystal river , flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb . 2 In the middle of the city street , and on either side of the river stood the tree of life , bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit every month : and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations . 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it , and His servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there , and did not need the light of a lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light : and they shall reign for ever and ever .

Old things are in the past , the old earth and the old heaven too, sin is totally eradicated by the great judgment of God. Now his people enjoy every blessing , peace , harmony , brotherhood , and they are all each and everyone called by new names specially given by the Lord , they will live where there will be no more night because the Lord will illuminate , and reign for eternity. The picture of eternal life in these verses indicates that we will be busy serving God for all eternity. We will both serve Him (v. 3) and reign with Him (v.5). Since He is an infinite God, we can be sure He will have infinite things for us to do as we reign there forever. The phrase, “they shall see his face,” means that, as believers, we will be granted an audience with the King on a regular basis.What a beautiful promise of Jesus and what a beautiful place to live till eternity, don’t you think !!!

The coming of Christ is near

(Revelation 22:6)

6 And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true. And the Lord , the God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place . 7 Behold , I come quickly ! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

The Lord clearly tells John ” I’m coming soon! and He says it as a warning, because He is warning us to take care not to sin no more.

” Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” The Lord clearly wants us to take care not to lose our salvation our entrance to the eternal life. He does not want any of us not even one to perish in the day of judgment . The Lord wants to save us all from the torment of eternal hell , which is the purpose of his human sacrifice by dying on the cross, and therefore , reason why He also ask John to write this last prophecy as for a last call which we have read and studied in the chapters of Revelation 1 through 22 . When Jesus repeated “I am coming soon ! He meant that after all the events that are yet to happen happened, for sure He will come ! He never mentions date neither the day nor the hour but He gives us many signs and road map as instructions of what would take place before the end of time , He sure has explained in details all the events that will soon take palce on earth and He wants us to be ready for the big day .

John was asked not to seal the prophecy of this book :

(Revelations 22:8-10)

I , John, am the one who heard and saw these things . And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things . 9 And he said to me, See thou do it not because I am a fellow servant of thy brethren the prophets , and of them which keep the sayings of this book . Worship God . 10 And said unto me , Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is near .

The prophet Daniel as we read on 12:4 is asked to seal the book, while John was told not to do it ! And he tells us why: BECAUSE THE TIME IS NEAR ! The prophecies of Daniel looked very distant while John’s nearby.

(Revelation 22:11)

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous , let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still .

Here the Lord clearly is asking us to STOP and not to continue to practice sin , He predicts the fate of sinners , while He says that by practicing justice, holiness, faithfulness will bring us to this holy city . He alerts us but does not prohibit us anything, we still have free will and if sin is what your heart wants to radicate on, then you’ll know the consequences which are as we all know ” the wages of sin is death “, while the practice of justice is eternal life .

(Revelation 22:12-14)

12 Behold, I am coming quickly , and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work .
We will be rewarded according to our works , so Christ said it and so will ! We again see that “I am coming soon ! The Lord is with us alerting and warning us emputo of what is about to happen and wants all be prepared to not have to suffer in the final judgment of God. Blessed be Jesus Christ our Redeemer !13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life , and may enter through the gates into the city.

As we have read before, the Alpha and Omega is the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet , also we know that Christ is the first and the last , the beginning and the end , He was before the creation in eternity past , and will be present in eternity future. He is the author and finisher of all things , because Jesus Christ is the first and the last , is the one who created all things, He is in control of all things , He is upholding all things , He is LIKE NO OTHER , HE IS EVERYTHING !

And with a God like him, we do not need anything else, because no one else is better than him. If you have Jesus Christ IN YOUR HEART you have for sure eternal life, if you do not have Jesus Christ in heart , for what awaits you is an eternity burning in hell for all the wickedness, and addition to that , if do not have Jesus Christ as your king and savior your missing everything !

Jesus shed His precious blood to wash away the sins of all who trust in Him as Savior. Those who have received Christ as Savior , have washed their clothes in the blood of Christ . That is why the Lord says: “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life , and to enter the gates of the city. ” Blessed be the Lord ”

The wages of sin :

(Revelation 22:15- 17)

15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie . 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches . I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star . 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come . And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him who thirsts come and whoever wishes , let him take the water of life freely .

Please pay close attention to these almost last words of this book, because here we read very clear and specifically how the Lord Jesus Christ describes who will be left outside of the promised city , and these will be

1. “dogs ” The dogs are impure and malicious people or someone with a low character. The first time blatantly impure sinners were called dogs is in Deut. 23: verse 18. This is where male homosexual prostitutes were in view)

2. Sorcerers: Sorcerers are those who practice occult or witchcraft. Greek Pharmakos is the root of the English word pharmacy which often accompanies those practices.

3. Sexually immoral :Whoremongers are those who practice all kinds of sexual immorality. Greek pornos is the root of the English word pornography.

4. Murderers: Murderers: means pre-meditated murder. This has nothing to do with accidental killing or killing in war. They are included in the list given in Rev. 21 v.8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

5. Idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie .Idolaters are just those who put anything ahead of God which includes manna (money) or the love of everything which takes one’s attention off serving God. Someone once said: Show me someone’s calendar and checkbook and I’ll tell you where their heart lies. Think about that. Idolaters are also those who worship false gods or worship the true God in an unacceptable matter

Read very careful and stop, meditate for as long as it may take you to understand these words of the Lord, then look deep within your heart, try to find if there is any of these sins in you , and if they exist and they are in your life and still wish eternal life rapidly janked them out of your soul mind and spirit, cleanse your internal “body, soul and spirit ” through the shed blood of Jesus. If you find existence of any of these prohibited actions and personal behaviors not allowed in the holy city then repent , don’t hestitate , right there, right now where you at, ask God forgiveness, repent and ask the Lord to come into your life and cleanse you with his precious blood , tell him that you wish to make him your King and savior and I promise you He will hear your cry , he will heal you and cleanse you from all your sins and then and only then your name will be written in the book of Life.

The Lord Jesus testify :

(Revelation 22:18-22)

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book . 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life , from the holy city and from the things which are written in this libro.20 He who testifies to these things says : surely I come quickly. Amen , come, Lord Jesus.21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen .
The Lord Jesus Christ is the one who testifies to these things and who says , “Surely I come quickly .” How beautiful this prayer of the Spirit ” Amen , yeah, come, Lord Jesus.

Revelation 17:1-18

Revelation 17 and 18 is Babylon the great , which is to be ” the new world religious, economic and political system ” existing on earth before the return of Christ .

Judgment of the great whore
Then came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me , Come hither, I will show you the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters, 2 with whom they have committed fornication the kings of the earth and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication .

As we have already read earlier in chapter 16 where we studied the seven bowls , and all the judgments of God , we saw how his anger was poured out upon the earth, and the fall of Babylon . ( 16:17-21 ) . Now we see in this next chapter as one of the seven angels invites John to observe the fall of the great whore which is the “new world system apostate ” or also known as ” new world order” .

Revelation refers us to several women , we must begin by

1. Jezabel , which begins introduced as apostasy in the Church Rev 2:20 .

Two . Israel, Rev 12; 1

Three . the harlot, the apostate end world system , we read in chapter 17 and 4 ,

II . The explanation ( 17:3-18 )

3 And he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns scarlet beast . 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet , and decked with gold , precious stones and pearls , having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication : 5 And upon her forehead was a name written , MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS and abominations of the earth. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel ? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns . 8 The beast that you saw was , and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition: and the inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life, they behold the beast that was and is not and will come . 9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits , 10 and they are seven kings . Five have fallen, one is , the other has not yet come, and when he cometh, he must continue a short time. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth , and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition . 12 And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings with the beast. 13 These have one mind , and shall give their power and strength unto the beast . 14 war against the Lamb , and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords and King of kings: and they that are with him are called and chosen and faithful. 15 He said to me : The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits , are peoples, multitudes , nations and languages. 16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these shall hate the whore , and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh , and burn her with fire: 17 For God hath put in their hearts to accomplish his purpose agree , and give their kingdom unto the beast , until the words of God are fulfilled . 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth .

1. The whore wife

Come to verse 18 ” And the woman whom you saw is the great city we reigns over the kings of the earth.” Here we read very clear that this is a city that reigned over the earth in the days of John. The seven heads of verse 3 , they are symbols of mountains as we see in verse 9. You could say with certainty that is Rome. , Because this city is situated on seven hills. It should be noted that when the book of Revelation was written , Rome was who reigned over the kings of the earth.

Two . The beast Beast

While we remember the chapter 13 we realize that it is the same beast that is the antichrist. This world ruler who presents Chapter 8 will surge from the abyss , serving notice to rise from the dead. This beast described here its presented to us dressed in scarlet, relating it to the dragon, which is none other than Satan see 12:3 . This beast has seven heads and ten horns, which is also identified with Satan see 12:3 , and 13:1 . If we now read verse 10 we see the seven heads are seven kings. equal seven mountains. And the ten horns that tell us in verse 10 are ten kings. So the beast resembles the antichrist and his person. These ” seven kings ” could be translated as “seven kingdoms ” assuring us that the kingdom of the beast will be the world’s seventh kingdom, one that not even the world has yet seen .

Three . The seven heads

We’ve reviewed over the heads and we have learned that there are seven mountains view (see 9 ) , and the seven kings or kingdoms ( see 10) Egypt , Assyria, Babylon , Persia, and Greece were the five fallen kingdoms. And ” Rome” was the kingdom that was in the days of John, so that way we can know that the kingdom is not yet come to the beast that is the seventh kingdom.

Four . The ten horns prophecy

Of these ten kings but we’ve explained in verse 12. , Where we talk about the revival of the Roman Empire is an analogy of the ten toes of the image of Daniel 2:36-45 . All this would be very strange for John because in his days even these kings had not received their power, because this ready for the last days , when resurface the European federation who will be lead by the beast when it comes to power . So, without a doubt , we know that these ten kings would support the beast in his battle against Christ and the saints which with the help of the beast, destroy the great whore .

Five. The nations waters

The nations of the world are the waters where the harlot sits . ( see 15). And this whore will have total influence over all the earth both in politics and in the economy, as well as in religion.

III . The application

Rome is the harlot who represent the world church ” apostate ” in recent days . In recent times a new system of global Church was organized . And this ” bitch” will be involved in all political, economic world and with the help of the beast would become a great power system. This beast will have the full backing of the world or rather the ten kings to ride to victory . (Rev 6:1-2 ) The nations of Europe will come to a junction . During the first half of the Tribulation is where the scene in chapter 17 takes place , although there is still the beast is not even shown his true satanic character. But this will only be up to half of the tribulation , because this beast will want to take all the power and worship for itself . ( Cap 13) Why would the beast would want to get rid of the harlot, because it represents the worship of God , even in as an ” apostate state .” In ( verse 16 ) indicates that the federated nations of Europe will turn their back to the world church and destroy it , thus this will be fulfilling the prophecies of Revelation 2:20-23 . Then , once the whore have been removed , then the beast god plead and demand the worship of nations.

The true church of God is described as ” a pure bride ”

as pure as the harlot church ” apostate ” church apostate bride. the whore is in the desert , while the bride is in heaven . The harlot flies Satan ( 17:4 ) , while Christ adorns the bride. ( 19:8 ) . The harlot is judged for eternity , while the ” bride ” reign forever. The whore takes the bloodstain of all martyrs , while the ” bride ” is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Apocalipsis 17: 1-18

APOCALIPSIS 17 y 18 representa la gran Babilonia, que viene a ser ” el nuevo sistema religioso , económico y político mundial” existente en la tierra antes el regreso de Cristo.

Condenación de la gran ramera

Vino entonces uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas, y habló conmigo diciéndome: Ven acá, y te mostraré la sentencia contra la gran ramera, la que está sentada sobre muchas aguas; 2 con la cual han fornicado los reyes de la tierra, y los moradores de la tierra se han embriagado con el vino de su fornicación.

Como ya hemos leído, anteriormente en el capitulo 16 donde estudiamos las siete copas y todos los juicios de Dios , vimos como su ira se a derramado sobre la tierra, y también la caída de Babilonia . (16:17-21) . Ahora vemos en este capitulo siguiente como uno de los siete ángeles invita a Juan a observar la caída de la gran ramera cual es el ” nuevo sistema apostata mundial”

Apocalipsis nos hace referencia de varias mujeres , comenzamos por

1. Jazabel, la que comienza por introducirse como la apostasía en la Iglesia Apo 2:20.

2. Israel, Apo 12;1,

3. la ramera , el sistema mundial apostata final, leemos en capitulo 17 y 4 ,

4. La Esposa, que es la Iglesia de Dios . 19:7.

II. La explicacion (17:3-18)

3 Y me llevó en el Espíritu al desierto; y vi a una mujer sentada sobre una bestia escarlata llena de nombres de blasfemia, que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos. 4 Y la mujer estaba vestida de púrpura y escarlata, y adornada de oro, de piedras preciosas y de perlas, y tenía en la mano un cáliz de oro lleno de abominaciones y de la inmundicia de su fornicación; 5 y en su frente un nombre escrito, un misterio: BABILONIA LA GRANDE, LA MADRE DE LAS RAMERAS Y DE LAS ABOMINACIONES DE LA TIERRA. 6 Vi a la mujer ebria de la sangre de los santos, y de la sangre de los mártires de Jesús; y cuando la vi, quedé asombrado con gran asombro. 7 Y el ángel me dijo: ¿Por qué te asombras? Yo te diré el misterio de la mujer, y de la bestia que la trae, la cual tiene las siete cabezas y los diez cuernos. 8 La bestia que has visto, era, y no es; y está para subir del abismo e ir a perdición; y los moradores de la tierra, aquellos cuyos nombres no están escritos desde la fundación del mundo en el libro de la vida, se asombrarán viendo la bestia que era y no es, y será. 9 Esto, para la mente que tenga sabiduría: Las siete cabezas son siete montes, sobre los cuales se sienta la mujer, 10 y son siete reyes. Cinco de ellos han caído; uno es, y el otro aún no ha venido; y cuando venga, es necesario que dure breve tiempo. 11 La bestia que era, y no es, es también el octavo; y es de entre los siete, y va a la perdición. 12 Y los diez cuernos que has visto, son diez reyes, que aún no han recibido reino; pero por una hora recibirán autoridad como reyes juntamente con la bestia. 13 Estos tienen un mismo propósito, y entregarán su poder y su autoridad a la bestia. 14 Pelearán contra el Cordero, y el Cordero los vencerá, porque él es Señor de señores y Rey de reyes; y los que están con él son llamados y elegidos y fieles. 15 Me dijo también: Las aguas que has visto donde la ramera se sienta, son pueblos, muchedumbres, naciones y lenguas. 16 Y los diez cuernos que viste en la bestia, éstos aborrecerán a la ramera, y la dejarán desolada y desnuda; y devorarán sus carnes, y la quemarán con fuego; 17 porque Dios ha puesto en sus corazones el ejecutar lo que él quiso: ponerse de acuerdo, y dar su reino a la bestia, hasta que se cumplan las palabras de Dios. 18 Y la mujer que has visto es la gran ciudad que reina sobre los reyes de la tierra.

1. La mujer

Vamos al versiculo 18 “Y la mujer que has visto es la gran ciudad que reina sobre los reyes de la tierra”. Aquí nos queda muy claro que se trata de una cuidad, que reinaba sobre la tierra en los días de Juan. Las siete cabezas del versículo 3, ellas son símbolos de montanas como también vemos en el versículo 9. Se podría decir con toda certeza que es Roma., porque esta cuidad esta situada sobre siete colinas. Cabe recalcar que cuando se escribía este libro de Apocalipsis , Roma era quien reinaba sobre los reyes de la tierra.

2. La bestia

Si bien recordamos el capitulo 13 nos damos cuenta que es la misma bestia o sea el anticristo. Este gobernante mundial que nos presenta el capitulo 8 saldrá del abismo , dándonos a entender que se levantara entre los muertos. Esta bestia de la que se describe aquí se nos presenta vestida de escarlata , relacionándola con el dragón, que no es otro que Satanás veer 12:3. Esta bestia tiene siete cabezas y diez cuernos, que también se identifica con Satanás veer 12:3, y 13:1 . Si ahora leemos el versículo 10 vemos que estas siete cabezas son siete reyes. igual que siete montanas . Y los diez cuernos que nos hablan en el versículo 10 son otros diez reyes. Por eso que la bestia se asemeja al anticristo así como a su persona. Estos “siete reyes” podría traducirse como “siete reinos” asegurándonos que el reino de la bestia sera el séptimo reino mundial, aquel que aun el mundo no a visto.

3. Las siete cabezas

Ya hemos repasado sobre las cabezas y hemos aprendido que son siete montanas ver (ver 9 ), y los siete reyes o reinos (ver 10) Egipto, Asiria , Babilonia, Persia, y Grecia eran los cinco reinos caídos. Y “Roma” era el reino que era en los tiempos de Juan , así de esa manera podemos saber que el reino que aun no a venido es el de la bestia o sea el séptimo reino.

4. Los diez cuernos

De estos diez reyes mas, nos los explica en el ver 12., donde nos hablan del resurgimiento del imperio Romano es una anologia de los diez dedos en los pies de la imagen de Daniel 2:36-45 . Todo esto para Juan seria muy extraño porque en sus días aun estos reyes no habían recibido su poder, porque esta preparado para los últimos días, cuando resurja la federación Europea quien estará encabezada por la bestia cuando llegue al poder. Así, que sin duda alguna, ya sabemos que estos diez reyes respaldaran a la bestia en su batalla contra Cristo y los santos cual con la ayuda de la bestia , destruirá a la gran ramera.

5. Las aguas

Las naciones del mundo son las aguas donde se sienta la ramera. (ver 15). Y esta ramera tendrá influencia total sobre toda la tierra tanto en la política, como en la economía, y como también en la religión.

III. La aplicacion

Es Roma la ramera que representara la iglesia mundial “apostata” de los últimos días. En los últimos tiempos se organizara un nuevo sistema de Iglesia mundial. Y esta “ramera” sera involucrada en todo sistema político, económico del mundo y con la ayuda de la bestia se convertiría en un gran poder. Esta bestia tendrá todo el respaldo del mundo o mejor dicho de lo diez reyes al cabalgar en victoria. (Apo 6:1-2) Las naciones de Europa vendrán a una unión. Durante la primer MITAD de la tribulación es donde la escena en el capitulo 17 toma lugar , aunque ahí todavía la bestia no se mostrado aun con su verdadero carácter satánico. Pero esto solo sera hasta la mitad de la tribulación, porque esta bestia querrá tomar todo el poder y la adoración para si misma. (cap 13) Razón por la que la bestia querrá deshacerse de la ramera, por cuanto representa la adoración a Dios, aunque sea de manera “apostata” . En el (ver 16 ) indica que la naciones federadas de Europa se volveran contra de la iglesia mundial y la destruirán, cumpliendo así las profecías de Apo 2:20-23. Entonces , una vez se ha eliminado a la ramera, la bestia se declarara dios y exigirá la adoración de las naciones.

La iglesia verdadera de Dios se describí como ” una novia pura ” mientras a la ramera como la iglesia “apostata” . la ramera esta en el desierto , mientras que la novia esta en el cielo . La ramera se adorna de Satanás (17:4) , mientras que Cristo adorna a la novia. (19:8) . La ramera es juzgada por la eternidad, mientras que la “novia ” reinara por siempre . La ramera lleva la mancha de sangre de todos los mártires, mientras que la “novia” es redimida por la sangre del Cordero.

Revelation 15:1-8

Revelation 15 : 1-4

The seven angels with the seven plagues
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven plagues , the last, because in them he has consummated the wrath of God . 2 And I saw a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who had been victorious over the beast , over his image and over the number of his name , stand on the sea of glass with harps of God. 3 And they sang the song of Moses the servant of God , and the song of the Lamb:
Great and marvelous are thy works , Lord God Almighty !
Just and true are your ways , O King of nations !
4 O Lord ! Who shall not fear and glorify your name ?
For thou only art holy ;
because ALL NATIONS WILL COME
And worship before you ,
for your righteous acts have been revealed .

Revelation ( 15:1-4 )
John sees another sign in heaven, now is was great and wonderful , he sees seven angels with seven plagues , and said they were the last because in them the wrath has been accomplished , the wrath of God . That must be awful these last plagues of the wrath of God. John also saw the victors in Christ who achieved victory over the attacks were the Romans ( politicians and rulers ) about Christians , it does not speak of Roman citizens , but if any citizen adored Rome also share their punishment .

Now, those who are singing a song of “Victory” are those who have conquered the beast and his image ! Many of these are Christians who gave their lives for Christ and never denied it as their only king . These were not subjected to bear the mark of the beast or worship the image and thus lost their lives. Many of those who are standing on the sea of glass in heaven are those who endured the most cruel punishments but always confessed Christ as Lord. “Suffer with Christ , we shall reign with Him” ( 2 Tim 2:12).
Here is the song of Moses while in chapter 14:3 we see that the 144,000 sang a new song that no one else could sing . This song of Moses sure would be the song of the victory of Israel in the Red Sea in Exodus 15. The Jews sang the song of Moses when they went back to their land after the captivity , perhaps Psalm 118 was written after the return from Babylon . Chapter 12 Isaiah expresses the time that Israel be gathered from all parts of world and relocated to their land.

II The cups and their meaning ( 15:5-8 )
After this I looked , and the temple of the tabernacle was opened in heaven , 6 and left the temple the seven angels that had the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen , and girded around their chests with golden sashes . 7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and His power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed .

In chapter 10:7 of the book of Revelation we have to remember that Christ announced that the shedding of these cups the “Mystery of God” would be completed and that there would be no further delay. In the last seven final judgments God completed his anger, while Satan is pouring all his evil forces against believers and Jews very special. (12:12 ) . The beast has taken the earthly temple , but can not touch the heavenly temple and all it can do is blaspheme. ( 13:6 )

We see again the Temple of Heaven is opened , the opening of the temple is a reminder that God will keep his covenant with his people , Israel. Many Jews true believers would be protected by God, while others will die by faith together with many nations .

Seven angels having the seven plagues from the temple of God , these seven bowls are poured one after the other , this means that each cup produces its own effect one after the other , so the glasses have an end time different . The tops of the seven cups have poured almost entirely . The objective of the glasses described in chapter 16:6 ” For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets , and thou hast given them blood to drink as they deserve .”
The gowns of these angels means ” holiness and royalty.” The white linen dress was worn by priests in the OT, and the golden belt means king. This should remind us that we are ” kings and priests” (Rev 16) royal priesthood.
The bowls of the wrath of God are given to the angels for one of the four living creatures . These seven angels have them delivered these seven bowls and they contemplate the judgments of God on earth. Seven as we have learned is the number of correctly,of plentiful . The heavenly temple is now filled with smoke from the glory of God. The first thing that comes to mind as the smoke from the glory of God is when we remember that in the OT (Ex 40:34 , 35) when the tabernacle was dedicated the full glory of God manifested , so too did the glory of God manifested on the OT temple dedication ( 2Ch 7:1-4 ) .

Now, we see that neither saint nor angel anyone could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished. I mean, nobody could intercede in prayers for world events. Since God’s patience had run out and there was no opportunity to intercede for anyone. The long-suffering of God had come to an end !

There is not much certainty what the exact order of the stamps with the events but the great scholars and students of prophecy believe that the first six seals are opened during the first three and a half years , and the seventh seal which includes trumpets and bowls covering the last three and a half years .

El cántico de los 144 mil

Después miré, y he aquí el Cordero estaba en pie sobre el monte de Sion, y con él ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, que tenían el nombre de él y el de su Padre escrito en la frente.²Y oí una voz del cielo como estruendo de muchas aguas, y como sonido de un gran trueno; y la voz que oí era como de arpistas que tocaban sus arpas. ³Y cantaban un cántico nuevo delante del trono, y delante de los cuatro seres vivientes, y de los ancianos; y nadie podía aprender el cántico sino aquellos ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil que fueron redimidos de entre los de la tierra.⁴Estos son los que no se contaminaron con mujeres, pues son vírgenes. Estos son los que siguen al Cordero por dondequiera que va. Estos fueron redimidos de entre los hombres como primicias para Dios y para el Cordero;⁵y en sus bocas no fue hallada mentira, pues son sin mancha delante del trono de Dios.

Juan dice: Después miré. ¿Hacia donde está mirando Juan ? Hacia el cielo o hacia la tierra.

Pues, siendo que Juan está viendo a Jesucristo, el Cordero, tiene que ser en el cielo, porque a estas alturas de los eventos en la tribulación, Jesucristo no habrá venido por segunda vez a la tierra. Su segunda venida ocurrirá al final de la tribulación, tal cual como está relatada en Apocalipsis capítulo 19. El monte Sión del cual habla el texto leído, entonces es una referencia al cielo. El Cordero está de pie en el cielo. Pero, incluso si esta escena es en cielo, entonces está mirando de antemano al reino venidero en la tierra. También , observamos que no esta solo, el texto dice que con él estaban 144.000. Estos 144.000 son los mismos que fueron sellados por Dios en Apocalipsis capítulo 7, pero ahora no están ya en la tierra sino en el cielo. La Biblia no nos provee de información acerca de cómo llegaron al cielo. Las probabilidades son que perecieron en la persecución del Anticristo y murieron como mártires o murieron de muerte natural, o hasta quizás fueron trasladados al cielo sin pasar por la muerte.

Ahora se describe el carácter de los 144.000. El hecho que los describe como “no se contaminaron con mujeres “ y eran “ vírgenes “ no se refiere en lo físico , sino en lo espiritual. Los que moran en la tierra en aquel dia serán llenos del pecado de fornicación espiritual., y aparentemente estos 144.000 sellados no serán contaminados. Serán marcados con el nombre de su padre y no el de la bestia.

El mensaje de los tres ángeles

Apo 14:6-13

⁶Vi volar por en medio del cielo a otro ángel, que tenía el evangelio eterno para predicarlo a los moradores de la tierra, a toda nación, tribu, lengua y pueblo, ⁷diciendo a gran voz: Temed a Dios, y dadle gloria, porque la hora de su juicio ha llegado; y adorad a aquel que hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar y las fuentes de las aguas.⁸Otro ángel le siguió, diciendo: Ha caído, ha caído Babilonia, la gran ciudad, porque ha hecho beber a todas las naciones del vino del furor de su fornicación. ⁹Y el tercer ángel los siguió, diciendo a gran voz: Si alguno adora a la bestia y a su imagen, y recibe la marca en su frente o en su mano,¹⁰él también beberá del vino de la ira de Dios, que ha sido vaciado puro en el cáliz de su ira; y será atormentado con fuego y azufre delante de los santos ángeles y del Cordero;¹¹y el humo de su tormento sube por los siglos de los siglos. Y no tienen reposo de día ni de noche los que adoran a la bestia y a su imagen, ni nadie que reciba la marca de su nombre.¹²Aquí está la paciencia de los santos, los que guardan los mandamientos de Dios y la fe de Jesús.¹³Oí una voz que desde el cielo me decía: Escribe: Bienaventurados de aquí en adelante los muertos que mueren en el Señor. Sí, dice el Espíritu, descansarán de sus trabajos, porque sus obras con ellos siguen.

Cada ángel tiene un anuncio diferente, Dios aun usa personas para dar mensajes y en los últimos tiempos, tiempos del juicio de Dios usara a los ángeles. “El Evangelio Eterno “presenta a Dios como el creador, Salvador, y advierte que el juicio viene pronto. Anuncia el temor a Dios, les dicen que den gloria a Dios y no a la bestia ni a Satanás. También, advierten el llamado final para todo aquel que adora a la bestia y su imagen, y aquel que ha recibido la marca de su nombre . (Ro 1:25) . Anuncian también la caída de Babilonia cual es el sistema apostata político religioso que encabeza la bestia mundialmente. Leer (Jer 50:14,15,38 y 51:7,8)

Vemos las siete copas de juicio que es el derramamiento de la ira de Dios (Ap 15-18) Ya no habrá ni gracia ni misericordia mesclada con su ira. El ángel bien que advierte a los que llevan la marca de la bestia que sufrirán tormentos eternos sin descanso ni alivio. A diferencia a los seguidores del Cordero pues ellos descansaran de sus labores y serán benditos. Los creyentes deben tener paciencia como nos dice la palabra en (Lucas 21:19) .

La tierra es segada

Apo 14: 14-20

¹⁴Miré, y he aquí una nube blanca; y sobre la nube uno sentado semejante al Hijo del Hombre, que tenía en la cabeza una corona de oro, y en la mano una hoz aguda.¹⁵Y del templo salió otro ángel, clamando a gran voz al que estaba sentado sobre la nube: Mete tu hoz, y siega; porque la hora de segar ha llegado, pues la mies de la tierra está madura.¹⁶Y el que estaba sentado sobre la nube metió su hoz en la tierra, y la tierra fue segada.¹⁷Salió otro ángel del templo que está en el cielo, teniendo también una hoz aguda.¹⁸Y salió del altar otro ángel, que tenía poder sobre el fuego, y llamó a gran voz al que tenía la hoz aguda, diciendo: Mete tu hoz aguda, y vendimia los racimos de la tierra, porque sus uvas están maduras.¹⁹Y el ángel arrojó su hoz en la tierra, y vendimió la viña de la tierra, y echó las uvas en el gran lagar de la ira de Dios.²⁰Y fue pisado el lagar fuera de la ciudad, y del lagar salió sangre hasta los frenos de los caballos, por mil seiscientos estadios.

Aquí leemos como Juan vio a Cristo en una nube blanca, con una corona de oro y con una hoz aguda a la tierra para recoger la cosecha . La primera vez que Cristo vino a la tierra vino como sembrador de la semilla, para en la segunda venida viene como el segador, trayendo juicio al mundo . “La mies de la tierra está madura “ . Esto muestra que Dios sabe exactamente cuándo y a quien juzgar . Por siglos y siglos y con toda paciencia a estado Dios esperando a que las semillas de iniquidad rindan fruto (Stg 1:14-15) .

Entonces ya vemos la gran guerra del Armagedón

La bestia atacara a Israel.
Dios derroto a Rusia
La bestia derroto a Egipto
Ambos enemigos se retiran derrotados
La bestia se establece como gobernante y deidad mundial
La bestia reina hasta en Jerusalen
Los ejércitos avanzaran hacia Palestina, luchan contra la bestia
El hijo del Hombre aparecerá en ese tiempo y los ejércitos se unirán para luchar contra Cristo

En los versículos 17-18 describe a un hombre que corta racimos de uvas de la vid. Es ahora que el nuevo sistema mundial impío son “ los racimos de la tierra”. Y Cristo es la vid verdadera. Aunque Israel fue sembrado para ser la vid santa de Dios, desgraciadamente y triste en decirlo pero produjo frutos amargos. No tan solo fueron desobedientes y fueron contra la palabra de Dios pero también rechazaron al verdadero Mesías y aceptaron el falso Cristo, razón por la cual han tenido que sufrir amargas consecuencias.

Llegamos al versículo 20 donde da escalofríos leer como la sangre correrá hasta larga distancia, por 320 km fuera de la cuidad de Jerusalén y será profunda como los la distancia de los frenos de los caballos hasta el cuelo! . Ah es donde se derramara la ira de Dios.

No cabe dudas que todo aquel que rechazo la verdad y el evangelio de Dios sufrirá terriblemente juicio en ese terrible y desbastador día de la ira de Dios.

Cada día nos acercamos más a este fin “Armagedón” el cual nos habla Juan en este capítulo, pues ya está el surgimiento de Europa y Egipto, incluyendo las naciones de Asia, añadiendo la federación Europea. De lo que debemos estar seguros y confiados de la derrota final que llevara Satanás y sus aliados. Pues Dios da palabra cierta y verdadera que en la guerra final El acabara por siempre con Satanás sus demonios y con todos sus seguidores.

Book of Revelation 11:1-19

Part I Revelation 11:1-6

” Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told : Go and measure the temple of God , and the altar , and them that worship therein . But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not , for it is given unto the Gentiles . , And they will trample the holy city forty -two months ” 3″ And I will give unto my two witnesses to prophesy for 1200 . threescore days, clothed in sackcloth ” Revelation 11:4 says: ” These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth ” 5 And if any man will hurt them , fire proceeds from their mouth . , and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them , he must be killed the same way. 6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood , and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they want . ”

Here in this chapter we are about in the middle of the tribulation . We’re in the Jewish land . The Jewish temple has already been established and although still in disbelief they worship God again . Also, here are two witnesses who minister in the first three and half years , same as to forty-two months , equivalent to 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth The sackcloth was a coarse garment . Many used these sackcloth with tide belts with spikes around their waist to produced deep pain as punishing themselves for a tragic situation. Even some prophets wear these garments of sackcloth to announce impending punishment . And these two witnesses apparently will wear clothes like that rustic , rough and painful. These two witnesses preach to the Jews and have access to the temple. These witnesses also will be known as prophets and they will also demonstrate the power of God to the Jews and Gentiles unbelievers , and many says to be saved .

They show the power of God and devour their enemies , they both will definitely have power over waters, especially over all sorts of disasters event and they are capable to use their power as often as they want to . They will do great miracles and are identified by many as Moses and Elijah. For Moses in Egypt turned water into blood and Elijah by drought and by the rain and called down fire from heaven. Moreover, in Malachi 4:5-6 God promises that Elijah will come again back to earth to minister.

Now we read that in the midst of the tribulation , at this time the beast, the (Antichrist ) is revealed in all its openly satanic fury,taking possession of the temple. ( 2 Th 2; Dn 9:27 ) Mt 24:15 . Then we see the Antichrist proclaiming himself as god , so would be the (abomination ) that both Christ and Daniel prophesied.

God asks John to measure the temple but was instructed not to measure the court outside the temple this because the temple courtyard is delivered to the Gentiles, and the Gentiles will trample the city forty-two months . God also asks John to measure the temple area and this goes back to Ezekiel 40-41 and Zechariah 2 . But we see that despite the satanic fury that seized temple Christ again claims it and returns it to his people. These witnesses will demonstrate the power of God to all the unbelieving Jews and Gentiles , and it says that many would be saved .

Part II Revelation 11:7-14

“When they finish their testimony , the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them , and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city , which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified . And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half , and shall not be put in graves . And the inhabitants of the earth will rejoice over them and make merry, and shall send gifts to one another , because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth ” 11 -” And after three days and an half the spirit entered into them . of life from God , and I stood on their feet , and great fear fell upon them which saw them . 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them , Come up hither . And they ascended to heaven in a cloud , and their enemies saw them. 13 At that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell , and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted , and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past : behold , the third woe is coming soon.

These two witnesses will be divinely protected by God until they have finished their testimony . The beast will oppose them because while they are alive he can not seize the temple, however God will allow the beast to kill them. In Jerusalem no one would give them burial, and the world will see their dead bodies lying in the street for three and half days . The people and kindreds and all tongues and nations will see their dead bodies lying in the street and refuse them burial. And all their enemies will rejoice over them and rejoice over their death. But God raises these two witnesses from the dead. After being dead for three and a half days they rise again, and greatly fear falls upon those who saw these witnesses lying dead in the street. Can you imagine if there was astonishment when they were raised after three and a half day lying down dead , can you picture how would it be when they witness these two witnesses been caught up to heaven ?

Their enemies shall see this event , and then, there will be a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city will collapse and die in the earthquake seven thousand men. That would be a horrible day to be!

The seventh trumpet

Part III Revelation 11:15-19
15 The seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven , saying, The kingdoms of this world are become our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces , and worshiped God , 17 Saying, We give thee thanks , O Lord God Almighty , which art, and wast, and art to come , because you have taken Your great power and reigned . 18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time for judging the dead , and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great and for destroying those who destroy the earth. 19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings , an earthquake , and great hail .

We’ve been reading and waiting for the third woe ! Where from Chapter 8 was promised. Here we already see the seventh angel when I play the trumpet , and there were great voices in heaven , saying, The kingdoms of this world become our Lord and of his Christ , and he shall reign for ever and ever .

From here on we see the son of God takes the reins of government and conquer their enemies.

Here we also see the elders praise glorifying Christ by His power.

Note : This is the third heavenly praise. In the 4: 10:11 praise Him as Creator, in 5:8-10 praise Him as Redeemer , and here praise him as King and Judge. And also gives answers to the prayers of God’s people , your kingdom come !
We will emphasize verse 18 where we read that the nations were angry , and from this time the nations openly demonstrate hatred toward Christ and his people. And that’s where we see the persecution of God’s people on earth as never before.
Also, all resurrected tribulation martyrs (20:4 ) as the wicked dead . ( 20:2 ) see Daniel 12:1-3 indicates that OT saints resurrected after the tribulation . There will be the great judgment of God, that judge the works of the saints , and the wicked will be judged for their sins condemnation of which they did not repent .

In the last three and half years of the tribulation come the end of the program of God. There will be no further delay ( 10:6 ) This chapter begins with the temple on earth and ends with the temple in heaven . Once again we see the lightning , thunder and voices signal coming storm .

The ark which was seen as the heaven was opened is the symbol of God’s covenant and presence . It means that the land of Israel will go through intense suffering and God assures them that will have His back and care. When the law was given at Sinai was thunder and there are now signs and thunder when judging the world for having broken the law. Read verse 18 : thy wrath is come ! and this judgment will be fulfilled according to chapters 15-16 and will be when God pours out the vials of the wrath .

Keep in mind that the first three and a half years is a period of tribulation, but the next three and half years are known as the wrath of God . ( 15:10-10 , 15:7 , 16:1 )

Try to escape the wrath of God.
Today, accept the Lord Jesus Christ himself as your king and savior , that way you won’t have to go through the wrath of God .

Apocalipsis 11:1-6

“Entonces me fue dada una caña semejante a una vara de medir, y se me dijo: Levántate, y mide el templo de Dios, y el altar, y a los que adoran en él. Pero el patio que está fuera del templo déjalo aparte, y no lo midas, porque ha sido entregado a los gentiles; y ellos hollarán la ciudad santa, cuarenta y dos meses.”3 “Y daré a mis dos testigos que profeticen por mil doscientos sesenta días, vestidos de cilicio.”Apocalipsis 11:4 dice: “Estos testigos son los dos olivos, y los dos candeleros que están en pie delante del Dios de la tierra.”5 Si alguno quiere dañarlos, sale fuego de la boca de ellos, y devora a sus enemigos; y si alguno quiere hacerles daño, debe morir él de la misma manera. 6 Estos tienen poder para cerrar el cielo, a fin de que no llueva en los días de su profecía; y tienen poder sobre las aguas para convertirlas en sangre, y para herir la tierra con toda plaga, cuantas veces quieran.”

Aquí en este capítulo estamos a punto del medio de la tribulación. Ya estamos en el terreno judío. El templo judío ha sido establecido y aunque en incredulidad adoran de nuevo a Dios. Aquí también aparecen dos testigos que ministran durante los primeros tres años y medio o sea cuarenta y dos meses, equivalente a 1260 días , y se muestran vestidos de cilicio. El cilicio era una vestimenta tosca. Muchos se ceñían con un cinturón de pinchos del cual se auto producían profundo dolor castigándose ellos mismos por alguna situación trágica. Algunos profetas que anunciaban castigo inminente de Dios se vistieron de cilicio, y estos dos testigos aparentemente vestirán vestiduras así de rusticas, ásperas y dolorosas. Estos dos testigos predicaran a los judíos y tendrán acceso al templo. Estos testigos como también serán llamados profetas demostraran el poder de Dios ante los judíos y los gentiles incrédulos, y muchos se salvaran. Ellos mostraran el poder de Dios y devoraran a sus enemigos, tendrán poder sobre las aguas y sobre todo evento natural cuantas veces quieran. Haran grandes milagros y se identifican como Moisés y Elías. Porque Moisés en Egipto convirtió el agua en sangre y Elias oro por la sequia y por la lluvia y también hizo descender fuego del cielo . Además, en Malaquías 4:5-6 Dios promete que Elías vendrá de nuevo a ministrar.

En medio de la tribulación, en este tiempo la bestia (el anticristo) se revela abiertamente con toda su furia satánica tomando posesión del templo. (2Ts 2 ; Dn 9:27) Mt 24:15. El anticristo se proclama el mismo como dios , asi será la ( abominación desoladora) del que tanto Cristo como Daniel profetizaron .

Dios le pide a Juan que mida el templo pero también fue instruido a no medir el patio que esta fuera del templo, porque el patio del templo es entregado a los gentiles y los gentiles hollaran la cuidad cuarenta y dos meses. También Dios le pide a Juan que mida el área del templo y esto se remota hasta Ezequiel 40-41 y Zacarias 2. Pero vemos que a pesar de la furia satánica con que el anticristo se apoderado del templo, Cristo de nuevo lo reclama y lo devuelve a su pueblo.

Estos testigos o profetas como tambien seran llamados , demostraran el poder de Dios ante los judíos y los gentiles incrédulos, y dice que mucho se salvaran.

Apocalipsis 11:7-14 “Cuando hayan acabado su testimonio, la bestia que sube del abismo hará guerra contra ellos, y los vencerá y los matará. Y sus cadáveres estarán en la plaza de la grande ciudad que en sentido espiritual se llama Sodoma y Egipto, donde también nuestro Señor fue crucificado. Y los de los pueblos, tribus, lenguas y naciones verán sus cadáveres por tres días y medio, y no permitirán que sean sepultados. Y los moradores de la tierra se regocijarán sobre ellos y se alegrarán, y se enviarán regalos unos a otros; porque estos dos profetas habían atormentado a los moradores de la tierra.” 11- “Pero después de tres días y medio entró en ellos espíritu de vida enviado por Dios, y se levantaron sobre sus pies, y cayó gran temor sobre los que los vieron. 12 Y oyeron una gran voz del cielo, que les decía: Subid acá. Y subieron al cielo en una nube; y sus enemigos los vieron. 13 En aquella hora hubo un gran terremoto, y la décima parte de la ciudad se derrumbó, y por el terremoto murieron en número de siete mil hombres; y los demás se aterrorizaron, y dieron gloria al Dios del cielo. 14 El segundo ay pasó; he aquí, el tercer ay viene pronto

Estos dos testigos serán divinamente protegidos por Dios hasta que su testimonio haya acabado. La bestia se opondrá a ellos porque mientras ellos estén vivos el no podrá apoderarse del templo, pero Dios permitirá que la bestia los mate. En Jerusalén ni siquiera les darán sepultura y el mundo entero vera sus cadáveres tendidos en la calle por tres días y medio. Los pueblos, tribus, lenguas y naciones los verán sus cadáveres tendidos en la calle y no permitirán que sean sepultados. Y todos sus enemigos se regocijaran sobre ellos y se alegraran de su muerte.

Pero Dios levanta a estos dos testigos, después de haber estado muertos por tres días y medios, vuelven a levantarse y el temor caerá grandemente sobre lo que los vieron muertos tendidos en la calle. Pero si asombro hubo cuando fueron levantados de nuevo como será cuando sean arrebatados al cielo. Sus enemigos lo verán, y entonces habrá un gran terremoto, y la decima parte de la cuidad se derrumba, y por el terremoto morirán en número de siete mil hombres. Que horrible día este será !

La séptima trompeta

¹⁵El séptimo ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubo grandes voces en el cielo, que decían: Los reinos del mundo han venido a ser de nuestro Señor y de su Cristo; y él reinará por los siglos de los siglos.¹⁶Y los veinticuatro ancianos que estaban sentados delante de Dios en sus tronos, se postraron sobre sus rostros, y adoraron a Dios,¹⁷diciendo: Te damos gracias, Señor Dios Todopoderoso, el que eres y que eras y que has de venir, porque has tomado tu gran poder, y has reinado.¹⁸Y se airaron las naciones, y tu ira ha venido, y el tiempo de juzgar a los muertos, y de dar el galardón a tus siervos los profetas, a los santos, y a los que temen tu nombre, a los pequeños y a los grandes, y de destruir a los que destruyen la tierra.¹⁹Y el templo de Dios fue abierto en el cielo, y el arca de su pacto se veía en el templo. Y hubo relámpagos, voces, truenos, un terremoto y grande granizo.

Llevamos leyendo y esperando el tercer ay! Donde desde el capitulo 8 fue prometido. Aquí ya vemos el séptimo ángel cuando toco la trompeta, y hubo grandes voces en el cielo, que decían: Los reinos del mundo a venido a ser de nuestro Señor y de su Cristo; y el reinara por los siglos de los siglos .

A partir de aquí en adelante vemos como el hijo de Dios toma las riendas del gobierno y conquista a sus enemigos.

Aquí también vemos las alabanzas de los ancianos glorificando a Cristo por su poder.

Note: Esta es la tercera alabanza celestial. En el 4: 10:11 le alaban como Creador, en el 5:8-10 le alaban como Redentor; y aquí le alaban como Rey y Juez. Así como también se le da contesta a las oraciones del pueblo de Dios, venga tu reino!

Vamos a recalcar el versículo 18 donde leemos que las naciones se airaron, y a partir de este momento las naciones abiertamente demostraran odio hacia Cristo y su pueblo. Y es donde vemos la persecución del pueblo de Dios en la tierra como nunca antes.

También, resucitaran todos los mártires de la tribulación (20:4) como los muertos impíos. (20:2) ver a Daniel 12:1-3 indica que los santos del AT resucitaran después de la tribulación. Habrá el gran juicio de Dios, donde juzgara las obras de los santos, y los malos serán juzgados en condenación por sus pecados de los cuales no se arrepintieron.

En los últimos tres años y medio de la tribulación llegara el final del programa de Dios. Ya no habrá más demora (10:6) Este capítulo comienza con el templo en la tierra y termina con el templo en el cielo. Vemos una vez más los relámpagos, truenos y voces señal de la tormenta que se avecina.

El arca el cual se ve en cuanto el cielo fue abierto es el arca del pacto símbolo de la presencia y pacto de Dios. En la tierra Israel va a atravesar intenso sufrimiento y Dios les asegura que de nuevo tendrán su dirección y cuidado. Cuando se dio las leyes en el Sinaí hubo truenos y señales así como ahora hay truenos a la hora de juzgar al mundo por haber quebrantado la ley. Lea versículo 18; Tu ira ha venido ! y este juicio se cumplirá según capítulos 15-16 y será cuando Dios derrame las copas de la ira.

Tenga muy en cuenta que los primeros tres años y medios es un periodo de tribulación, pero los siguientes tres años y medio se les conoce como la ira de Dios. (15:10-10; 15:7; 16:1 ) Traten de huir de la ira de Dios.

Acepte hoy mismo al Señor Jesucristo como su rey y salvador y no tendrá que pasar por estos duros tiempos de la ira de Dios .

Revelation 10:1-14

Down from heaven I saw another mighty angel in a cloud , with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea , and his left on the land, 3 and cried with a loud voice as a lion roars : and when he had cried , seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write : and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write . 5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven , 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever , who created heaven and the things that therein are, and the earth and the things that therein are , and the sea and the things which are therein , that there should be time no longer : 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery God should be finished, as he announced to his servants the prophets. 8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again , and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went unto the angel , telling him to give me the little book . And he said : Take and eat , and thy belly bitter , but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey . 10 And I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it , and it was in my mouth sweet as honey , but when I had eaten it , my belly was bitter . 11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again about many peoples , nations , languages and kings.

We’re at the midpoint of the great tribulation . According to Daniel 9:27 This is the time that the beast breaks his covenant with Israel and reveals his satanic fury . God protects the Jewish remnant during the first three years and means , and the global beast has authority over the past three and a half years later . We have already read that Satan has taken over the land greatly for three years, and has terrorized the land especially Christians with a great persecution .

There is a hiatus between the sixth and and seventh trumpet. The seventh trumpet is the start of the cup of God’s wrath .

This special messenger ” strong angel ” coming down from heaven , wrapped in a cloud with a rainbow over his head is but our Lord Jesus Christ the angel of the Lord. The description John gives us of this strong angel is the same as the glorified Christ in Revelation 1:12-16 we read . The cloud and rainbow refers to feet Fire 1:16 to 1:15 and the face like the sun at 1:16. Even the voice as we see in the lion also in Hosea 5:5 11:10 and Joel 3:16 . That voice you hear is not a voice of grace but of judgment.

The “little book ” verse 2, takes about a big roll opened and in 5:1 is sealed . Read verses 9-11 we see that this is a book of prophecies. And the prophets had declared this big roll and its prophecies. Perhaps this ” Booklet ” is the sealing message of Daniel 12 , 4-9 and will now open for it to pass.

The Lord standing on the sea and on the land claim sign , He is claiming what is his. ! We do not know what the loud word says or what the thunders said, and we’re not going to speculate either. John was told to seal up the words of thunder , this is the only revelation that the book reveals . This vision of John makes it clear to us that Christ is in control and will soon fulfill of all God’s purposes .

Part II of the Angel ‘s announcement 10:5-7

The scene starts when Christ raises his hand and says that there will be no more delay. ” TIME AND NOT BE MORE ” . We’ve read that the souls under the altar were asking : “How longer ?” .6:10-11 . And we saw how the answer: “Since there will be no further delay ” Sinners say and talk about the delay of the return of Christ because it seems to them He does nothing to prevent the calamity this world is coming to , so they ask Him to do something ? 2 Peter 3 . This period of delay is nothing more than a last opportunity for many more to repent of sin to enable them to be saved.

hrist tells us in 11:15-19 that God will complete its program with the sound of the seventh trumpet. I should also mention that many scholars think this ” Little Book ” contains the mystery of God .

Part III of the book Appropriation 10:8-11

It’s not just enough that John sees the ” Booklet ” in the hand of ” strong angel ” Angel of God who is the same our Lord Jesus Christ but must seize it, this is an illustration of how we may make His word part of our inner person. We see in Matthew 4:4, Ps 119:103 , that the word of God is our food . We must take it and assimilate it before it can make us any good .

The effect of eating the ” Booklet ” had a double effect on John , first was sweet for your palate but bitter in his stomach. John is blessed to know that God will fulfill his promises , but b feeling the bitterness he realized the suffering that will come over the next three and a half years of the tribulation.

In the next lesson we will read John prophesy about many peoples, nations , languages and kings.

El séptimo sello

8 Cuando abrió el séptimo sello, se hizo silencio en el cielo como por media hora. 2 Y vi a los siete ángeles que estaban en pie ante Dios; y se les dieron siete trompetas. 3 Otro ángel vino entonces y se paró ante el altar, con un incensario de oro; y se le dio mucho incienso para añadirlo a las oraciones de todos los santos, sobre el altar de oro que estaba delante del trono. 4 Y de la mano del ángel subió a la presencia de Dios el humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos. 5 Y el ángel tomó el incensario, y lo llenó del fuego del altar, y lo arrojó a la tierra; y hubo truenos, y voces, y relámpagos, y un terremoto.

Ahora, vemos que el séptimo sello, y es cuando comienza la siguiente serie de juicios, las siete trompetas. En el AT testamento como ya hemos muchos leidos y aprendido se usaban para anunciar la guerra (Nm10:5-9) o para mover el campamento (Nm 8) o anunciar las fiestas ( Nm 10:10) y tambien para traer juicio (Jos 6:13) El símbolo de la trompeta es de “poder y autoridad”

En los primeros tres anos y medio se tocan las trompetas , y las copas se derraman durante los últimos tres anos y medio. Este periodo se llama la ira de Dios. Vemos en (8:1) el silencio que se hizo en el cielo como por media hora después de abrir el séptimo sello. Esta a punto de desatarse el juicio de Dios sobre la tierra. Ya se ha manifestado la aparición del Anticristo, la guerra, el hambre, la muerte, el martirio de creyentes y disturbios físicos tanto en el firmamento como en la superficie de la tierra. Después del silencio, Juan ve a siete ángeles con siete trompetas. Los ángeles como leemos tiene el poder y la voluntad para obedecer con fidelidad lo que el Señor ordena de ellos. Juan nos describe a siete ángeles en pie ante Dios . Esto significa que están listos y dispuestos a obedecer sus órdenes. Juan entonces observa que a cada uno de esos siete ángeles se les da una trompeta. Como mencionamos anteriormente la trompetas tenían mucha importancia en la nación de Israel, pues como hemos leído eran usadas para convocar la congregación, y para hacer mover los campamentos. También se usaban para dar orden de batalla en una guerra como para solemnizar los días festivos del pueblos de Israel.

Entonces vemos que los ángeles ya están listos para tocar las trompetas, y esto tiene que ver con una declaración de guerra, así como también con el hecho que el Rey de reyes está por ser coronado y entronado y que ha llegado el momento para juzgar a sus enemigos.

Juan ve entonces a otro ángel el quien vino y se paro ante el altar y este no puede ser otro que el gran sumo sacerdote, el Señor Jesucristo, en su oficio de ofrecer las oraciones de los santos. Uno de los nombres de Jesucristo es justamente el Ángel de Jehová. El texto lo dice con claridad. “Y de la mano del ángel subió a la presencia de Dios el humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos” En este caso, las oraciones de los santos tenían que ver con que Dios ejecute venganza en contra de la humanidad impía que durante la tribulación utilizará toda su fuerza para perseguir y asesinar a los creyentes. Esta oración es llevada al trono de Dios por intermedio de su Hijo, el Cordero, Jesucristo. Dios lo recibe como un olor fragante, simbolizado por el fragante humo del incienso.

Pues vemos que Dios esta mas que listo para contestar esas oraciones que han sido echas en el nombre de Jesus su hijo .

Eso es lo que tenemos en Apocalipsis 8:5 donde dice: “Y el ángel tomó el incensario, y lo llenó de fuego del altar, y lo arrojó a la tierra; y hubo truenos, y voces, y relámpagos, y un terremoto”

Aquí tenemos al ángel haciendo algo inusual. Está tomando el incensario, lo está llenando de fuego del altar de oro o del altar de incienso, y en lugar de quemar en ese fuego el incienso cuyo perfume sature el trono de Dios, está arrojando el fuego a la tierra.

Es una manera simbólica de indicar que ha llegado el momento de atender las oraciones de los santos en el sentido de derramar juicio o fuego de Dios sobre la tierra. Tan pronto el ángel volcó el fuego del incensario sobre el planeta tierra, la tierra toda se sacudió en convulsión frenética. La atmósfera manifestó su terror ante lo que estaba por suceder. Dejó oír truenos y voces y los relámpagos se veían como en la peor de las tormentas. La tierra se conmovió también con violencia. El terremoto fue una especie de quejido de dolor que emanaba de la tierra.

Estas oraciones de que aquí se mencionan son las oraciones que elevaron a Dios los santos de la tribulación, están regresando a la tierra como truenos, voces y un terremoto. La oración tiene poder. Una vez mas vemos que la oración tiene mucho poder. !

Finalmente Juan describe a los siete ángeles llevando ya las trompetas a la boca para hacer oír su sonido.

Apocalipsis 8:6 dice: “Y los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se dispusieron a tocarlas.”

Todo estaba preparado para que se vaya descorriendo el telón y tengan lugar los juicios que vienen después del sonido de cada trompeta.

Las trompetas

7 El primer ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubo granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre, que fueron lanzados sobre la tierra; y la tercera parte de los árboles se quemó, y se quemó toda la hierba verde. 8 El segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y como una gran montaña ardiendo en fuego fue precipitada en el mar; y la tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre. 9 Y murió la tercera parte de los seres vivientes que estaban en el mar, y la tercera parte de las naves fue destruida. 10 El tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una gran estrella, ardiendo como una antorcha, y cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos, y sobre las fuentes de las aguas. 11 Y el nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo. Y la tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo; y muchos hombres murieron a causa de esas aguas, porque se hicieron amargas. 12 El cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida la tercera parte del sol, y la tercera parte de la luna, y la tercera parte de las estrellas, para que se oscureciese la tercera parte de ellos, y no hubiese luz en la tercera parte del día, y asimismo de la noche. 13 Y miré, y oí a un ángel volar por en medio del cielo, diciendo a gran voz: !!Ay, ay, ay, de los que moran en la tierra, a causa de los otros toques de trompeta que están para sonar los tres ángeles!

1ra. Trompeta , Juan observó que sobre la superficie de la tierra se abatió una tormenta por demás extraña. En lugar de gotas de agua caía granizo y fuego mezclado con sangre. Los intérpretes de la Biblia han propuesto varias hipótesis para explicar este raro fenómeno. Algunos han llegado a la conclusión que es el producto de una feroz erupción volcánica que ha lanzado vapor de agua y material incandescente a la atmósfera y por acción de la gravedad descenderá como una masa de granizo y fuego de un color rojo sangre. Las tormentas de granizo pueden causar terribles desastres, porque cuando el fuego se mezcla con el granizo , las posibilidades de desolación son espantosas. tercio de arboles y hierba verde sera destruido por la primera trompeta de juicio.

2da . Trompeta, afecta al mar, convirtiendo una tercera parte del mismo en sangre y tanto matando a un tercio de sus criaturas , como destruyendo un tercio de las naves. Aquí el mar puede significar solo el mar Mediterráneo ; pero es mas probable que se incluyan a todos los mares global.

3ra. Trompeta, cae del cielo una gran estrella ardiendo como una gran antorcha, afectando los ríos, haciendo amargas las aguas. Dios es el único que conoce la gran estrella del versículo 10 , pues El llama a las estrellas por su nombre ( Job 9:9-10 )

4to. Trompeta , al cuarto ángel tocar la trompeta trae grandes calamidades en los cielos, porque se oscurece una tercera parte de la luz de los cuerpos celestes. Esto hace cumplimiento a la profecía de Jesús registrada en Lucas 21:25-28 . Digno e interesante es de mencionar que Dios creo los cuerpos celestes en el cuarto día de la creación ; cuando la cuarta trompeta suene, El los oscurecerá.

Pero la humanidad no se arrepiente aun estando ya va el pánico de los sucesos . Este terror del que Juan vio y nos escribe no hará que los hombres se arrepientan . Seguramente abra una oleada de crímenes como nunca jamas en la tierra pues la oscuridad de la noche sera densa hasta sentirla de día, pues hasta el sol se oscurecerá.

Y este ángel el cual dice ay ay ay de los que moran en la tierra, a causa de los otros toques de trompeta que están para sonar los tres ángeles ! es un mensajero literal de Dios.; advirtiendo al mundo que los próximos tres juicios serán todavía peores ! los moradores de la tierra son aquellos que han rechazado a Jesús por seguir las cosas del mundo y la adoración y de toda debilidad de la carne .

LIBRO APOCALIPSIS 6 : 9 – 11

⁹Cuando abrió el quinto sello, vi bajo el altar las almas de los que habían sido muertos por causa de la palabra de Dios y por el testimonio que tenían. ¹⁰Y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo: ¿Hasta cuándo, Señor, santo y verdadero, no juzgas y vengas nuestra sangre en los que moran en la tierra?¹¹Y se les dieron vestiduras blancas, y se les dijo que descansasen todavía un poco de tiempo, hasta que se completara el número de sus consiervos y sus hermanos, que también habían de ser muertos como ellos.

La presentación de los mártires

Juan está mirando a Jesucristo resucitado y glorificado en el cielo mientras abría el quinto sello del libro que había tomado de la mano del que se sentaba en el trono, es decir de Dios.

El libro es el título de propiedad de la creación entera. Por su sacrificio en la cruz, Jesucristo es digno de redimir la creación. Ya ha abierto cuatro de los siete sellos de este libro.

El primer sello significó la entrada del Anticristo en la tierra para dominar, al inicio de la tribulación.

El segundo sello significó guerra abierta entre naciones y entre personas en el mundo dominado por el Anticristo.

El tercer sello significó hambruna sobre la tierra dominada por el Anticristo.

El cuarto sello significó muerte de la cuarta parte de la población del mundo.

Si eso aconteciera hoy, morirían más de 1,600 millones de personas.

Al pensar en esto, se origina una mezcla de emociones en los que tenemos a Cristo como nuestro Salvador. Por un lado está el gozo de saber que por amor, Jesucristo nos ha librado de pasar por ese terrible periodo conocido como tribulación. Pero por otro lado está el dolor y la tristeza por los miles de millones que tendrán que soportar el atroz castigo de Dios durante la tribulación. Esto nos debe motivar a advertir del peligro a todo el mundo, para que hallen su refugio en Cristo Jesús.

La apertura del quinto sello significa varias cosas. Todo gira alrededor de mártires. Lo primero que notamos es la presentación de los mártires. Tan pronto Jesucristo, el Cordero abrió el quinto sello, Juan contempló bajo el altar las almas de personas muertas. Pero no eran personas comunes y corrientes. Dice el texto que eran almas de personas que murieron por causa de la palabra de Dios y por el testimonio que tenían. Eran almas de mártires. Lo que pasa es que tan pronto se inicie la tribulación, una vez que la iglesia haya sido arrebatada, sobre el mundo se levantarán muchas personas que ante la realidad de la desaparición de millones de creyentes, depositarán su fe en Cristo y le recibirán como Salvador.

Su fe les hará resistir y hasta sublevarse contra el dominio del Anticristo. El Anticristo responderá con una efectiva y feroz persecución a esos creyentes. Esto tendrá su clímax a la mitad de la tribulación. Más adelante, en el capítulo 13 de Apocalipsis se nos brinda detalles del aparato de persecución de este siniestro personaje llamado Anticristo. Estos creyentes, no fueron tales cuando sucedió el arrebatamiento de la iglesia. Por eso es que se quedaron en la tierra y entraron al periodo de tribulación. Llegaron a ser creyentes durante la tribulación y eso significó para ellos que tengan que padecer horrenda persecución de parte del Anticristo. Juan ve las almas de estos mártires bajo el altar. Cuando los sacerdotes del Antiguo Testamento ofrecían un animal sobre el altar del holocausto, derramaban parte de su sangre al pie del altar.

Desde la perspectiva del Antiguo Testamento, la sangre representa la vida. Estos mártires, mediante su sacrificio, derramaron su vida como libación para la gloria de Dios. Pablo hace uso de esta figura cuando en Filipenses 2:17 habla de ser derramado en libación sobre el sacrificio.

La plegaria de los martires , es una plegaria solicitando a Dios que actúe rápida y decididamente. Es un pedido a Dios para que intervenga en la situación y haga justicia. Por eso están diciendo: Toma venganza sobre los moradores de la tierra. Dios responderá esta plegaria, en su tiempo y a su manera. Quizá le parezca extraño que las almas de los mártires de la tribulación estén pidiendo a Dios venganza sobre los moradores de la tierra. Se supone que debemos amar a nuestros enemigos, bendecir a los que nos maldicen, hacer el bien a los que nos aborrecen, y orar por o a favor de los que nos ultrajan y nos persiguen, según la enseñanza de Jesús en Mateo 5:44. Pero lo que debemos reconocer, es que en la tribulación Dios está derramando su juicio sobre la tierra. Es una era diferente, las condiciones son diferentes, de modo que esta plegaria no es solo comprensible sino perfectamente justificada. Incidentalmente, note que las almas de los mártires están perfectamente concientes en el cielo. Digo esto porque algunas sectas falsas afirman que cuando una persona muere físicamente, el alma pasa a un estado de inconciencia, llamado el sueño del alma. Bueno, aquí tenemos almas de personas que murieron durante la tribulación, sin embargo están en perfecto uso de todas sus facultades.

La posesión de los mártires. Las vestiduras blancas simbolizan la justicia delante de Dios de estas personas. No es que llegaron a ser justas por haber sufrido el martirio, sino porque mientras vivieron en este mundo, recibieron a Cristo como Salvador. La justicia delante de Dios nunca ha sido ni será por medio de las obras.

Depues vemos la paciencia de los mártires.

Recuerde que las almas de los mártires clamaban delante de Dios por venganza sobre los moradores de la tierra. La respuesta de Dios la tenemos en la segunda parte de Apocalipsis 6:11 donde dice: “ y se les dijo que descansasen todavía un poco de tiempo, hasta que se completara el número de sus consiervos y sus hermanos, que también habían de ser muertos como ellos.”

La respuesta de Dios fue que él ejecutará la venganza solicitada, pero en su tiempo. Mientras tanto, las almas de los mártires tenían que esperar. La espera no sería en angustia sino en total descanso. ¿Hasta cuándo? Pues hasta que se complete el número de los creyentes que también serán martirizados en la tierra durante la tribulación.

Entonces Dios tomará venganza en los que moran en la tierra. Interesante que Dios sabe de antemano cuántos y quiénes son los creyentes que van a morir martirizados durante la tribulación. Esto muestra la omnisciencia y soberanía de Dios. Dios sabe todo, desde el principio hasta el final. Y no solo sabe, sino que él determina todo, desde el principio hasta el final.

El quinto sello entonces significa la muerte de un gran número de creyentes durante la tribulación. El cristianismo ha tenido sus etapas. Han habido ocasiones cuando confesar el nombre de Cristo ha sido suficiente motivo para ser martirizado. Sucedió en el pasado en los primeros siglos de existencia del Cristianismo, bajo el dominio del imperio Romano. Sucede aun hoy en día en los países dominados por filosofías o religiones anticristianas.

Apocalipsis 12:17

12 Miré cuando abrió el sexto sello, y he aquí hubo un gran terremoto; y el sol se puso negro como tela de cilicio, y la luna se volvió toda como sangre; 13 y las estrellas del cielo cayeron sobre la tierra, como la higuera deja caer sus higos cuando es sacudida por un fuerte viento. 14 Y el cielo se desvaneció como un pergamino que se enrolla; y todo monte y toda isla se removió de su lugar. 15 Y los reyes de la tierra, y los grandes, los ricos, los capitanes, los poderosos, y todo siervo y todo libre, se escondieron en las cuevas y entre las peñas de los montes; 16 y decían a los montes y a las peñas: Caed sobre nosotros, y escondernos del rostro de aquel que está sentado sobre el trono, y de la ira del Cordero; 17 porque el gran día de su ira ha llegado; ¿y quién podrá sostenerse en pie?

En Apocalipsis se menciona tres terremotos, pero junto con ellos habría disturbios en la tierra y en el cielo que aterrorizaran a grandes y a chicos. Algunos estudios bíblicos indican que estos versículos describen los resultados de la guerra atómica, con el sol y la luna oscurecidos , grandes masas de tierra moviéndose y la gente escondiéndose en agujeros en la tierra para escapar de la radiación atómica. Esto pudiera ser así, pero necesitamos notar que la gente se esconde de Cristo y de su ira en particular, no de alguna catástrofe causada por el hombre.

El versículo 15 es una descripción vivida de lo que sera la vida durante los primeros tres anos y medio de la tribulación. El anticristo reinara sobre los Estados Unidos de Europa , el imperio Romano restablecido , con una serie de reyezuelos que le siguen . Otra característica de los días de la tribulación es el militarismo ; habrá capitanes, y encaja muy bien con el resurgimiento del Imperio Romano del anticristo. Habra esclavitud (siervos) 19:13, en donde los esclavos y las almas de los hombres se incluyen en las mercancías de Babilonia. Existirá grandes riquezas como grandes pobrezas y esta redistribución de la riqueza destruida la economía de las naciones.

Pues parece entonces, que el juicio del sexto sello involucra tanto destrucción física literal en los cielos como en la tierra. En resumen vemos como el anticristo comienza su carrera como un conquistador político pacifico, pero entonces recurre a la guerra y a los controles económicos para dominar a otras naciones . El mundo aceptara su falsa paz porque a rechazado al Príncipe de Paz.
