Revelation 1:12-20 

12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me and turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands , 13 and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot , and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and hair were white as white wool, as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire: 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters . 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword . And his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead . And he laid his right hand upon me , saying, Fear not : I am the first and the last: 18 And he that liveth, and was dead , and behold I am alive for evermore , Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death. 19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and they are, and the things which shall be hereafter . 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches : and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

John no longer known more Christ according to the flesh << >> ( 2 Cor 5:16) , now is the King – Priest risen and exalted John saw the glorified Christ in the midst of the seven candlesticks which symbolize the seven churches ( 1.20). The people of God is the light of the world , the Church does not create light, but only maintained and allowed to shine . Do not see a single giant lamp; rather have seven separate lamp stands Here we already see the Son of man dressed in a robe wearing to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. Her dresses are a Priest-King . The white hair like wool speaks of eternity . ( Dn 19-12 ) their eyes and see everything juagan what they see. ( DN10 : 6Heb 4:12; Ap19.12 ); Christ in the midst of the churches , see what happens and judge . Foot Bronze den speaks judgment the bronze altar was the place where sin was judged . His voice << like the sound of many waters >> suggests two things ( 1) the power of the Word , like the sea , (2 ) all streams << > converge divine revelation in Christ. Psalm 29 – Ezekiel 43:2 .
In his hand are seven stars and are the messengers (or pastors) of Churches. It is possible that these messengers came to Juan Iglesias and personally received the book of Revelation . The stars are the messengers ( 1.20) Christ has for his servants in his hands. (Dan 12:3). The sword comes out of his mouth is his word that judges ( Isa 1:4, 49:2 ) . Shine Your face is like the sun that speaks of his glory . He is the bright morning star , as appears by his church when the hour is darkest before the wrath of God breaking into the horizon.
When Christ was on earth John leaned beside her but now falls at his feet , as worthy of all honor and praise. Christ assures John and calm their fears. Christ is the first and last so that we need not fear. He has the keys of Hades (not iniferno ) the field of the dead. The Hades one day deliver the souls of the lost ( 20:13-14 ) .
However, we see in verse 19 Christ says to John ” Write the things which thou hast seen, and they are, and the things which shall be hereafter : In other words, Christ selected seven churches from many of Asia Minor to emphasize their specific message . It is true that there was sin in other churches , but the issues addressed in these seven churches cover all possible circumstances. Christ selected these seven churches to illustrate the possible spiritual conditions in the churches until He comes again .
