Salutations to the seven churches

4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia : Grace and peace to you from him who is and who was and who is to come , and from the seven spirits who are before his throne , 5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. At that loved us, and washed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever . Amen .

Here we see that the greetings is “John” . The prophet John talk with more details as our study progresses .

After greeting we receptors which are the seven churches of Asia are , Roman province called Asia at the time. Today is known as Asia Minor , or is today the country of Turkey .

Chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation identifies by name the seven local churches and each receives a message of eternal application. Here , in a way , is where we You and me. Both the greeting, as subsequent messages , was directed to believers in each of the seven local churches and indirectly also to us believers today today , though we are not part of any of these seven local churches. Then it’s you and me also comes the greeting that brings Juan.

We will now identify the proper greeting . “Grace to you and peace “

Very important this greeting. As we know many ” grace ” means unmerited favor . Peace is a state of mind manifested by peace and quiet , as opposed to the crazy passions disturbed . Peace of which the Bible speaks is the result of an inner transformation that takes place in the person who trusts in Christ and receive Him as Savior. It is therefore of vital importance the order shown in the greeting .

First grace, unmerited favor by which a man is transformed into a new creature with the perfect sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Second , peace . It is the result of grace. It is the mood of peace and tranquility , as opposed to the embarrassment and passions . If you do not have peace in your life, it is very likely that the reason for this is because you have not been transformed by God through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. If that is the case, today receive Jesus Christ as Savior and You’ll enjoy the peace that only God can give .

Now let’s salute the authors . Is not clear that this is three heavenly characters .

We see the Father ” who is and who was and who is to come” He is the Eternal I am . Which exists for the same for ever and ever the beginning and the end to the Alpha and Omega . Then receive greetings great God Heavenly Father.
      Two . The Holy Spirit . ” And from the seven spirits who are before his throne “

This is a symbolic way of speaking of the Holy Spirit in all its fullness. This symbol brings us back in time to the book of the prophet Isaiah , when speaking of the Holy Spirit shows us in his seven functions. It says in Isaiah 11:2 ” rest on him the Spirit of the Lord . Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might , the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord” The number seven is a charged number symbolism . Represents perfection, completeness . When John speaks of seven spirits , seven spirits of God is showing us perfection of the person of the Holy Spirit and the fullness of his power. The Holy Spirit before the throne of God and the reason is because the Holy Spirit has always been the person of the Trinity has been commissioned to execute the will of the Deity . Receive greetings of this great person .

       Three . It is our Lord Jesus Christ ” and Jesus Christ is the faithful witness “

Here he talks to another character from eternity has shared the glory with the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God . As Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ , it is not surprising that the description of Jesus is the most extensive and detailed .

He is the faithful witness , look like it says in verse 5 ” ” and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness ‘

Jesus Christ is the faithful witness definitely not a faithful witness . No witness has been so faithful as Jesus Christ the son of God . ” He is unique.” A witness is one who speaks what he saw . That’s what Jesus did in this world. He spoke what he saw . We announced to his Father. His testimony was so faithful , so accurate , to hear Him is like hearing the Father. View He’s like to see the Father . To believe in Him is to believe the Father and certainly reject Him is like rejecting the Father. But also, Jesus Christ is the faithful witness because he was obedient unto death . As the faithful witness, Jesus takes the role of prophet.

Also presented as ” the firstborn from the dead.” This means that Jesus Christ is the first to receive a resurrected state of glorious immortality body. Thus , of all those who receive glorified bodies in the resurrection Jesus Christ is the most important , the preeminent . As such , at the right hand of the Father pleading for all who believe in him. As firstborn from the dead , Jesus performs the function of a priest.

Thirdly , Christ is presented as ” the prince of the kings of the earth.”

That ‘s what we have here in verse 5 . The earth has always had powerful men , many of them have become kings of the earth . Above them is someone who is sovereign. This means someone who exercises or has the supreme and independent authority . Someone who is above all , someone great , someone who can never be surpassed. It pays to be greeted by the ruler of the kings of the earth. In this function we see Jesus Christ in his role of King . The first three characteristics we have Jesus Christ as prophet, priest and king. But the description of the Son does not stop here .

We are introduced to Jesus Christ as our Savior Fourth . Revelation 1: from the last part of verse 5 and verse 6 says , “Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins by his blood and made ​​us kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen . “

What a beautiful greeting! with so many truths. You like me who are believers , were loved by the Son. At the time, the Son became flesh and dwelt in this world. He came to his , and his own received him not . In the fullness of time , Jesus Christ was crucified and shed His precious blood that washed us from our sins. Once constituted washes us kings and priests unto God and his Father. In the eyes of men are nothing and therefore the world despises us . But in the eyes of God we are kings and priests. As kings reign together with the King of kings. As priests we can enter as many times as we want and when we want to the throne of the heavenly Father . In thinking about this , all that is left is to express praise and worship to the Son.

That is exactly what John did . Dice : To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever . Amen . It is the Son who sends you greetings . I hope that you feel joyful and lively knowing that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have sent greetings .

Salutaciones a las siete iglesias

⁴ Juan, a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: Gracia y paz a vosotros, del que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete espíritus que están delante de su trono; ⁵ y de Jesucristo el testigo fiel, el primogénito de los muertos, y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. Al que nos amó, y nos lavó de nuestros pecados con su sangre,⁶ y nos hizo reyes y sacerdotes para Dios, su Padre; a él sea gloria e imperio por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Aquí vemos que el portador del saludo es “Juan” . Del profeta Juan hablaremos con mas detalles según vaya avanzando nuestro estudio.

Después vemos los receptores del saludo que son a las siete iglesias de están Asia, provincia Romana llamada Asia en aquellos tiempos. Hoy en día se conoce como Asia menor, o sea hoy es el país de Turquía.    

Los capítulos 2 y 3 del libro de Apocalipsis identifican por nombre a estas siete iglesias locales y cada una de ellas recibe un mensaje de aplicación eterna. Aquí, de cierta manera, es donde entramos Usted y yo. Tanto el saludo, como los posteriores mensajes, fue dirigido a los creyentes en cada una de esas siete iglesias locales y de una manera indirecta también a nosotros, los creyentes de la actualidad de hoy en día, aunque no somos parte de ninguna de esas siete iglesias locales. Entonces es a usted y a mí a  también llega el saludo que trae Juan.

Ahora vamos a identificar al saludo propiamente dicho. “Gracia y paz a vosotros”

Muy importante este saludo. Como ya sabemos muchos “ Gracia” significa favor no merecido. Paz es un estado del alma que se manifiesta por tranquilidad y sosiego, opuestos a lo turbado y a las pasiones alocadas. La paz de la cual habla la Biblia es el resultado de una transformación interna que se opera en la persona que confía en Cristo y le recibe como Salvador. Por esto es de vital importancia el orden que aparece en el saludo.

Primero la gracia, el favor no merecido por el cual el hombre es transformado en una nueva criatura mediante el sacrificio perfecto de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo en la cruz. Segundo, la paz. Es el resultado de la gracia. Es ese estado de ánimo de tranquilidad y sosiego, opuestos a la turbación y a las pasiones. Si Usted no tiene paz en su vida, es muy probable que la razón para ello sea porque Usted todavía no ha sido transformado por Dios mediante el sacrificio de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo en la cruz. Si ese es su caso, hoy mismo reciba a Jesucristo como su Salvador y Usted disfrutará de esa paz que solamente Dios sabe dar.

Ahora vamos a los autores del saludo. Muy claro no queda que se trata de tres personajes celestiales .

1. Vemos que es el Padre “ del que es y que era y que ha de venir “ El es El Eterno el Yo soy . El que existe por el mismo por siglos de los siglos el principio y el fin al Alfa y el Omega. Entonces reciba saludos del grandioso Dios padre celestial.

      2.   El espíritu Santo. “y de los siete espíritus que están delante de su trono”

Esta es una manera simbólica de hablar del Espíritu Santo en toda su plenitud. Este símbolo nos lleva de regreso en el tiempo al libro del profeta Isaías, cuando hablando del Espíritu Santo nos lo presenta en sus siete funciones. Dice así en Isaías 11:2 “Y reposará sobre él el Espíritu de Jehová; espíritu de sabiduría y de inteligencia, espíritu de consejo y de poder, espíritu de conocimiento y de temor de Jehová.” El número siete es un número cargado de simbolismo. Representa perfección, plenitud. Cuando Juan nos habla de siete espíritus, los siete espiritus de Dios,  nos está mostrando la perfección de la persona del Espíritu Santo y la plenitud de su poder. El Espíritu Santo está delante del trono del Padre y  la razón es porque el Espíritu Santo ha sido siempre la persona de la Trinidad que se ha encargado de ejecutar la voluntad de la Deidad. Reciba saludos de esta grandiosa persona.

       3.   Es nuestro Señor Jesucristo“y de Jesucristo el testigo fiel”

Aquí nos habla otro personaje que desde la eternidad ha compartido la gloria con el Padre y con el Espíritu Santo. El Señor Jesucristo es el hijo de Dios. Como Apocalipsis es la revelación de Jesucristo, no es extraño que la descripción de Jesucristo sea la más extensa y detallada.

El es testigo fiel, mire como dice en el versículo 5 “  “y de Jesucristo el testigo fiel”

Jesucristo definitivamente es el testigo fiel, no un testigo fiel. Ningún testigo ha sido tan fiel como Jesucristo el hijo de Dios. “Él es único”. Un testigo es aquel que habla lo que vio. Eso es lo que hizo Jesucristo en este mundo. Habló lo que vio. Nos dio a conocer a su Padre. Su testimonio fue tan fiel, tan certero, que oír a Él es como oír al Padre. Ver a Él es como ver al Padre. Creer en Él es como creer al Padre y ciertamente, rechazar a Él es como rechazar al Padre. Pero además, Jesucristo es el testigo fiel porque fue obediente hasta la muerte. Como el testigo fiel, Jesucristo realiza la función de profeta.

También se nos presenta como “el primogénito de los muertos”. Esto significa que Jesucristo es el primero en recibir un cuerpo resucitado en estado de inmortalidad gloriosa. Por tanto, de entre todos los que reciban cuerpos glorificados en la resurrección; Jesucristo es el más importante, el preeminente. Como tal, está a la diestra del Padre abogando por todos los que creen en él. Como primogénito de los muertos, Jesucristo realiza la función de sacerdote.

Y en tercer lugar, Jesucristo se presenta como “el soberano de los reyes de la tierra”.

Eso es lo que tenemos allí en el versículo 5. La tierra siempre ha tenido hombres poderosos, muchos de ellos han llegado a ser reyes de la tierra. Pero sobre ellos está alguien que es soberano. Esto significa alguien que ejerce o posee la autoridad suprema e independiente. Alguien que está por encima de todos, alguien excelente, alguien que no puede jamás ser superado. Vale la pena ser saludado por el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. En esta función vemos a Jesucristo en su papel de Rey. Las tres primeras características nos presentan a Jesucristo como profeta, sacerdote y rey. Pero la descripción del Hijo no se detiene aquí.

En cuarto lugar se nos presenta a Jesucristo como nuestro Salvador. Apocalipsis 1: desde la parte final del versículo 5 y el versículo 6 dice: “ Al que nos amó, y nos lavó de nuestros pecados con su sangre, y nos hizo reyes y sacerdotes para Dios, su Padre; a él sea gloria e imperio por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.”

Qué hermoso saludo ! con tantas verdades. Usted como yo que somos creyentes, fuimos amados por el Hijo. En su momento, el Hijo se hizo carne y habitó en este mundo. A lo suyo vino, pero los suyos no le recibieron. En el cumplimiento del tiempo, Jesucristo fue crucificado y derramó su preciosa sangre con la cual nos lavó de nuestros pecados. Una vez lavados nos constituyó reyes y sacerdotes para Dios su Padre. A los ojos de los hombres no somos nada y por eso el mundo nos desprecia. Pero a los ojos de Dios somos reyes y sacerdotes. Como reyes, reinaremos juntamente con el Rey de reyes. Como sacerdotes podemos entrar cuantas veces queramos y cuando queramos al trono del Padre celestial. Al pensar en esto, lo único que cabe es expresar alabanza y adoración al Hijo.

Eso es justamente lo que hizo Juan. Dice: A él sea gloria e imperio por los siglos de los siglos. Amén. Es el Hijo quien le envía saludos. Espero que Usted se sienta gozoso y animado al saber que el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo le han enviado saludos.

Chapter 1:1-3

It should be noted that Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy , according to the book tells us in Revelation 1:3 :

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein : for the time is near.

I wanted to mention and highlight verse number 3 first, before reading this prophetic book been symbolic and interesting, because in addition to receiving blessing for reading and hear these words , also warns us about what we are about to experience and what’s coming soon.

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ , which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass : and he sent and signified by his angel unto his servant John , 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and testimony of Jesus Christ , and of all that he saw .3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein : for the time is near.

The book of Revelation or Apocalypse of John or ” Revelation of John ” is the last book of the New Testament. It is also known as Revelation of Jesus Christ. It is considered by most scholars the only book of the New Testament prophetic character exclusively .

Revelation is perhaps the richest symbols written in the Bible. The amount of symbols, events and processes complicates the task of interpreting the entire text and, as such , has been the subject of numerous investigations , interpretations and debate throughout history.

From today on we begin this study of the book of Revelation in Spanish and English . We start from chapter 1 until chapter 22 ends . For anyone wishing to read it. Find your own interpretation and see what our Lord Jesus Christ has relieved for us to know.  This is just my own interpretation of what I personally have learned and understand of what’s in our near future experience to come.

Capitulo 1

Cabe recalcar que es Bienaventurado el que le lee , y los que oyen las palabras de estas profecias, segun nos dice el libro de

Apocalipsis 1:3:

Bienaventurado el que lee, y los que oyen las palabras de esta profecía, y guardan las cosas en ella escritas; porque el tiempo está cerca.

Quise mencionar y recalcar primero este versiculo numero 3 antes de comenzar la lectura de este libro tan profectico simbolico e interesante , porque ademas de recibir bendicion por leerlo y escucharlo tambien nos sobre avisa de lo que se nos acerca que a de  venir pronto.   

1 La revelación de Jesucristo, que Dios le dio, para manifestar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto; y la declaró enviándola por medio de su ángel a su siervo Juan, 2 que ha dado testimonio de la palabra de Dios, y del testimonio de Jesucristo, y de todas las cosas que ha visto.3 Bienaventurado el que lee, y los que oyen las palabras de esta profecía, y guardan las cosas en ella escritas; porque el tiempo está cerca.

El libro de las Revelaciones o Apocalipsis de san Juan o “Revelación de Juan” es el último libro del Nuevo Testamento. También es conocido como Revelaciones de Jesucristo . Es considerado por la mayoría de los eruditos el único libro del Nuevo Testamento de carácter exclusivamente profético.

El Apocalipsis quizás sea el escrito más rico en símbolos de toda la Biblia. La cantidad de símbolos, eventos y procesos complica la tarea de interpretar la totalidad del texto y, como tal, ha sido objeto de numerosas investigaciones, interpretaciones y debate a lo largo de la historia.
A partir de hoy comenzamos eeste estudio del libro de Apocalipsis en Espanol y en Ingles . Le damos comienzo por el capitulo 1 hasta su final capitulo 22 . Para todo el que desee leerlo. busque su propia interpretación y vera lo que nuestro Señor Jesucristo nos ha declarado para los últimos tiempos ,aqui solo se refleja una interpretacion de lo que pesonalmente me da a entender un poco mas de entendimiento de este libro profetico.
