5 Then I saw in the right hand a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals sitting on the throne. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals? 3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the book, neither to look thereon. 4 And I wept much , because I had not found worthy to open the book , and read it , neither to look thereon . 5 And one of the elders saith unto me , Weep not . Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David , hath prevailed to open the scroll and its seven seals.

The <book> refers to a scroll with seven seals roll hardbacks non existent in those days. These rolls are to reed reeds

that grew in the rivers  juncoand were very expensive  . This particular roll is the title to Christ over creation. A Roman testament was sealed with seven seals, this stuff is a testament that Christ gives the right to claim the creation by virtue of his sacrifice. A will alone could open it and Christ is the heir of all heir  ( Heb 1:2 ) The fact that the scroll is written on both sides shows that you can not add anything more , the fate of a sinful world is  determined.

Revelation contains several symbols and to understand them,  it must be interpreted in the light of the Old Testament. In this case you need to refer to Jeremiah chapter 32 in which operation is in the process of what the redemption of the land was called. The basis for this purpose was ordained by God in Leviticus 25:23-28 which says, ” The land shall not be sold permanently , because the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with Me. Therefore, in all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption for the land. When your brother becomes poor and sells some of his property, then his nearest relative is to come and redeem what his brother sold. And when the man not to redeem it , and himself be able to redeem it , then count the years of the sale , and the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it, and return unto his possession . But if not himself be able to get it back , which is sold shall remain in the possession of the buyer until the year of jubilee: and in the jubilee it shall go out, and he shall return to his possession . “

This will guarantee that no one becomes a landowner and the land remains in the same family for generations . In Jeremiah 32, God said to his servant , the prophet , his cousin Hanameel come to ask you to redeem or purchase its field in Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin. Jeremiah did the same and redeemed or bought that field for 17 shekels of silver. Then Jeremiah wrote the details of the purchase of two rolls .

One was in the public domain . Do not sealed , but the second was sealed with seven seals and stored in a clay pot in the temple. It only took him out of there when someone appeared right to redeem the property , according to the instructions we read in the book of Leviticus. A person entitled to redeem the land was known as the kinsman redeemer . If everything was in order, the kinsman redeemer could buy land to recover and was recognized as the legitimate owner of that land.

When God created all things, God gave Adam the domain of all created animals and everything else  adan-nombra-animales600.  But Adam lost dominion of creation when he fell into sin. Satan therefore came to dominate creation. But only for a while. Only until a kinsman of Adam appears. The sealed with seven seals , written within and without, that John saw in the hand of him that sat on the throne a book is the title of creation.

Who will be the redeemer right to open the seals of this book? Well that’s what the rest of the passage. Let’s see who is the redeemer .

Revelation 5 : 2-5 says, “And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals? And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open the book and read it , neither to look thereon . And one of the elders saith unto me , Weep not . Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David , hath prevailed to open the scroll and its seven seals . “

While John looked stunned sealed with seven seals in the hand of him that sat on the throne book rollo con siete sellos heard the powerful voice of a mighty angel . The fact that John speaks of a mighty angel suggests that it was the angel Gabriel, just because the name Gabriel means : The strong man of God. According to Luke 1:19, Gabriel is God. In other words he was asking : Who is the redeemer of Adam with the right to redeem the creation whose domain fell to Satan? John must have been much excited . Finally the creation will be freed from the dominion of Satan . But the illusion soon turned to disappointment.

Text that no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look says . This means that the entire universe was not worthy to redeem God’s creation . Throughout the history of mankind , many men have risen pretending redeem or own creation. Nebuchadnezzar was one of them , but failed miserably . After Alexander the Great rose. He began to mourn when there was more territory to conquer, but within a year I was dead and his empire disintegrated . Later rose Julius Caesar, but his rule also evaporated. He was followed by Charlemagne , Napoleon and even Hitler. People who tried to dominate creation. None of them was worthy. Knowing that there were none worthy of regaining control of the creation , Juan began to mourn as a baby. As you may continue creating under the dominion of Satan. In that, he arose from his throne, one of the elders and tenderly said to John, ” Do not weep .” Beautiful words . But what this old man said to John was far greater . Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David , has prevailed to open the scroll and its seven seals. These words must have sounded like sweet music to the ears of John.

He had found one worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals. It appeared the redeemer of Adam. This is the Lion of the tribe of Judah . The root of David . This means it is none other than the Messiah of Israel, the Messiah  jesus the Christ  is the Lion of the tribe of Judah  Leon_de_Yahudad77in Genesis 49:9-10 . He talks about his fierceness and strength, which was veiled in weakness in his first coming to this world , but be revealed in all its magnitude in his second coming . He is also the root of David . It’s another of their titles. Appears in Isaiah 11:1. Speaks of his right to the throne of Israel. Besides the text says that Jesus Christ defeated . This refers to the victory he obtained over Satan on the cross of Calvary. For all this, Jesus Christ is the redeemer of Adam. He is entitled to redeem the creation by the sin of Adam was under the dominion of Satan. It is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals . John must have felt so joyful . John knew Jesus Christ personally . What satisfaction must have felt to know that he has recovered the man lost in the Garden of Eden.

If you have Christ as your Savior , you are on the side of victory. Never mind that for now it seems that Satan has the upper hand . In short it is a defeated foe . Very soon lose the domain now has over creation.

He aquí que el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos.

La palabra <libro> se refiere a un rollo     rollo con siete sellos  los libros encuadernados no extistian en esos dias. Estos rollos se hacia de juncos junco

que crecian en los rios y eran muy costosos. Este rollo en particular es el titulo de propiedad de Cristo sobre la creacion. Un testamento romano se sellaba con siete sellos;este rollo es un testamento , que otorga a Cristo el derecho de reclamar la creacion por virtud de su sacrificio. Un testamento solo lo podia abrir el heredero y Cristo es el herdero de todo (Heb 1:2) El hecho de que el rollo esta escrito por ambos lados muestra que no se le puede anadir nada mas; el destino de un mundo pecador ya esta determinado.

Apocalipsis contiene varios símbolos variosimbolosque para entenderlos deben ser interpretados a la luz del Antiguo Testamento. En este caso es necesario hacer referencia a Jeremías capítulo 32 en el cual se ve en operación el proceso de lo que se llamaba la redención de la tierra. El fundamento de este propósito fue ordenado por Dios en Levítico 25:23-28 donde dice: “La tierra no se venderá a perpetuidad, porque la tierra mía es; pues vosotros forasteros y extranjeros sois para conmigo. Por tanto, en toda la tierra de vuestra posesión otorgaréis rescate a la tierra. Cuando tu hermano empobreciere, y vendiere algo de su posesión, entonces su pariente más próximo vendrá y rescatará lo que su hermano hubiere vendido. Y cuando el hombre no tuviere rescatador, y consiguiere lo suficiente para el rescate, entonces contará los años desde que vendió, y pagará lo que quedare al varón a quien vendió, y volverá a su posesión. Mas si no consiguiere lo suficiente para que se la devuelvan, lo que vendió estará en poder del que lo compró hasta el año del jubileo; y al jubileo saldrá, y él volverá a su posesión”. 

De esta manera se garantizaba que nadie se vuelva un terrateniente y que la tierra permanezca en la misma familia de generación en generación. En Jeremías 32, Dios dijo a su siervo, el profeta, que su primo Hanameel vendría a pedirle que redima o compre su campo en Anatot, territorio de Benjamín. Jeremías hizo lo propio y redimió o compró ese campo por 17 siclos de plata. Luego Jeremías escribió los detalles de la compraventa en dos rollos.

Uno de ellos era de dominio público. No se lo sellaba, pero el segundo era sellado con siete sellos y guardado en una vasija de barro en el templo. Se lo sacaba de allí solamente cuando aparecía alguien con el derecho para redimir esa propiedad, conforme a las instrucciones que leímos en el libro de Levítico. A la persona con derecho para redimir la tierra se le conocía como el pariente redentor. Si todo estaba en orden, el pariente redentor podía comprar la tierra, para recuperarla y era reconocido como legítimo propietario de esa tierra.

Cuando Dios creó todas las cosas, dio a Adán el dominio de todo lo creado adan-nombra-animales600. Pero Adán perdió dominio de la creación cuando cayó en pecado. Satanás por tanto, llegó a dominar la creación. Pero solo por un tiempo. Solo hasta que aparezca un pariente redentor de Adán. El libro sellado con siete sellos, escrito por dentro y por fuera, que Juan vio en la mano del que estaba sentado en el trono, es el título de propiedad de la creación.

¿Quién será el pariente redentor con el derecho de abrir los sellos de este libro? Pues de eso trata el resto del pasaje. Veamos quien es este pariente redentor.

Apocalipsis 5: 2-5 dice: “Y ví un ángel fuerte que pregonaba a gran voz: ¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos? Y ninguno, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro, ni aun mirarlo. Y lloraba yo mucho, porque no se había hallado a ninguno digno de abrir el libro, ni de leerlo, ni de mirarlo. Y uno de los ancianos me dijo: No llores. He aquí que el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos”.

Mientras Juan miraba atónito el libro sellado con siete sellos en la mano del que estaba sentado en el trono, oyó la voz poderosa de un poderoso ángel. El hecho que Juan hable de un ángel fuerte lleva a pensar que se trataba del ángel Gabriel, porque el nombre Gabriel justamente significa: El hombre fuerte de Dios. Según Lucas 1:19, Gabriel está delante de Dios. Este ángel hace una pregunta penetrante y pertinente: ¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos? En otras palabras estaba preguntando: ¿Quién es el pariente redentor de Adán con el derecho para redimir la creación cuyo dominio cayó en poder de Satanás? Juan debe haberse ilusionado mucho. Por fin la creación será liberada del dominio de Satanás. Pero la ilusión muy pronto se tornó en decepción.

Dice el texto que ninguno, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra podía abrir el libro, ni aun mirarlo. Esto significa que en el universo entero no había ninguno digno de redimir la creación de Dios. A lo largo de la historia de la humanidad, muchos hombres se han levantado pretendiendo redimir o ser dueños de la creación. Nabucodonosor fue uno de ellos, pero fracasó estruendosamente. Después se levantó Alejando Magno. Se puso a llorar cuando no había más territorio que conquistar, pero en cuestión de un año estaba muerto y su imperio se desintegró. Mas tarde se levantó Julio César, pero su imperio también se evaporó. A él le siguieron Carlomagno, Napoleón, y hasta Hitler. Personas que intentaron dominar la creación. Ninguno de ellos fue digno. Al saber que no había ninguno digno de recuperar el dominio de la creación, Juan se puso a llorar como un bebé. Como es posible que la creación continúe bajo el dominio de Satanás. En eso, se levantó de su trono uno de los veinticuatro ancianos y con ternura dijo a Juan:  ” No llores “.  Hermosas palabras. Pero lo que este anciano dijo a Juan fue mucho más grandioso. He aquí el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos. Estas palabras deben haber sonado como dulce melodía a los oídos de Juan.

Se había hallado a uno digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos. Apareció el pariente redentor de Adán. Se trata del León de la tribu de Judá. La raíz de David. Esto significa que no es otro sino el Mesías de Israel, el Ungido, el Cristo jesus                 Leon_de_Yahudad77Él es el León de la tribu de Judá, según Génesis 49:9-10. Habla de su fiereza y fortaleza, la cual fue velada en debilidad en su primera venida a este mundo, pero se manifestará en toda su magnitud en su segunda venida. También él es la raíz de David. Es otro de sus títulos. Aparece en Isaías 11:1. Habla de su derecho a ocupar el trono de Israel. Además dice el texto, que Jesucristo ha vencido. Esto se refiere a la victoria que él obtuvo sobre Satanás en la cruz del Calvario. Por todo esto, Jesucristo es el pariente redentor de Adán. Es el que tiene derecho para redimir la creación que por el pecado de Adán quedó bajo dominio de Satanás. Es el único digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos. Juan debe haberse sentido tan gozoso. Juan conocía a Jesucristo personalmente. Qué satisfacción debe haber sentido al saber que él ha recuperado lo que el hombre perdió en el huerto de Edén.

Si Usted tiene a Cristo como su Salvador, Usted está del lado de la victoria. No importa que por ahora parece que Satanás tiene las de ganar. En definitiva es un enemigo derrotado. Muy pronto perderá el dominio que por ahora tiene sobre la creación.

7 And the first beast was like a lion, the second creature like a calf, the third had a face like a man , and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. 8 And the four living creatures , each having six wings , were full of eyes around and within , and day and night ceased not say, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY , WHO WAS , and which is to come . 9 And whenever the living creatures give glory , honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne , who liveth for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship Him who lives forever and ever , and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 thou art worthy , O Lord our God , to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created .

Each of these living beings had six wings around , and within being full of eyes. Rounding all this, we would say that God’s throne was surrounded by cherubs able to thoroughly examine what was going on , whose purpose was to keep the holiness in heaven. These cherubim were strong and vigorous as the lion, dedicated exclusively to serve in humility as a calf , capable of thinking, feeling and acting with free will , as man and always ready to act swiftly in obedience to God’s will . -4- The – living beings

It is difficult to get an idea of ​​what they looked like these living beings. Being full of eyes in front , behind, around and inside reminds us that nothing escapes his gaze searchingly . These living beings are not omniscient , because only God has this attribute , but they are certainly aware of everything happening around the throne of God. But who are these beasts ? We also see the song of the elders 24 elders praising Mr. recognize the magnificence of God when he says : Lord , You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. But here’s something new . The song emphasizes God as creator . For You created all things , and for thy pleasure they are and were created . In Revelation 5:9-10 the living creatures and the elders came together to praise God for his redemption through the blood of Christ , because even the creation is redeemed through the cross . In Revelation 11:16-19 alban heaven God because He is the judge who justly punish the world for its sins.

The stage is set , has led the church to heaven, the Lord is on the throne and praise the heavens and hope the outpouring of His wrath . Interestingly, the name of God used here is < Lord God Almighty > ( 4.8)

Time to take dominion of creation has come . So the church will be praising God as creator. If you are a child of God , you will some day , praising God without ceasing, night and day. You better start now then revel in the praise of God. Amen

7 El primer ser viviente era semejante a un león; el segundo ser era semejante a un becerro; el tercer ser tenía el rostro como el de un hombre, y el cuarto ser era semejante a un águila volando. 8 Y los cuatro seres vivientes, cada uno de ellos con seis alas, estaban llenos de ojos alrededor y por dentro, y día y noche no cesaban de decir: SANTO, SANTO, SANTO, es EL SEÑOR DIOS, EL TODOPODEROSO, el que era, el que es y el que ha de venir. 9 Y cada vez que los seres vivientes dan gloria, honor y acción de gracias al que está sentado en el trono, al que vive por los siglos de los siglos,10 los veinticuatro ancianos se postran delante del que está sentado en el trono, y adoran al que vive por los siglos de los siglos, y echan sus coronas delante del trono, diciendo: 11 Digno eres, Señor y Dios nuestro, de recibir la gloria y el honor y el poder, porque tú creaste todas las cosas, y por tu voluntad existen y fueron creadas.

Notas:

El primero era semejante a un león. Esto denota poder y fortaleza. leon

Los querubines están para servicio de Dios. querubines

El tercero tenía rostro como de hombre. Esto denota que son seres vivientes racionales con intelecto, emociones y voluntad, al igual que el hombre. cara de hombre

El cuarto era semejante a un águila volando. Esto denota agilidad para cumplir con la voluntad de Dios. aguila

Cada uno de estos seres vivientes tenía seis alas,  y alrededor y por dentro estaban llenos de ojos. Redondeando todo esto, diríamos que el trono de Dios estaba rodeado de querubines   capaces de examinar minuciosamente lo que estaba pasando, cuyo propósito era guardar la santidad en el cielo. Estos querubines eran fuertes y vigorosos como el león, dedicados exclusivamente a servir en humildad como un becerro, capaces de pensar, de sentir y de actuar con voluntad propia, como el hombre y siempre listos a actuar con rapidez en obediencia a la voluntad de Dios.  Los-4-seres-vivientes

Es difícil hacerse una idea de cómo lucían estos seres vivientes. El hecho de estar llenos de ojos delante, detrás, alrededor y por dentro nos hace pensar en que nada escapa de su escrutadora mirada. Estos seres vivientes no son omniscientes, porque solo Dios tiene este atributo, pero ciertamente están al tanto de todo lo que sucede alrededor del trono de Dios. Pero, ¿quiénes son estos seres vivientes? Una comparación de estos seres vivientes con lo que tanto Ezequiel como Isaías vieron en visión, nos ayuda a identificar a estos seres vivientes. Se trata de querubines, quienes son una orden angelical que se ocupa de guardar la santidad de Dios. Su presencia alrededor del trono de Dios garantiza la absoluta santidad del cielo. Pero note que cada ser viviente tenía su particularidad.

Esta es la alabanza de los cuatro seres vivientes. ¿Con qué frecuencia alababan a Dios? El texto dice que no cesaban día y noche”Eso explica que sin cesar, de día y de noche estén dedicados a alabar a Dios. Tambien vemos el tema de la alabanza. Es sencillo. Santo, santo, santo es el Señor Dios Todopoderoso, el que era, el que es, y el que ha de venir. Varias cosas triples aparecen en el tema de alabanza. Tres veces santo, tres nombres diferentes: Señor, Dios y Todopoderoso y tres aseveraciones sobre su eternidad e inmutabilidad. El que era, el que es y el que ha de venir. Dios es un ser trino. Es uno solo, pero existe en tres personas.

La alabanza de los ancianos. Esto deberá ser algo espectacular. Tan pronto los cuatro seres vivientes reconocen en alabanza la magnificencia y eternidad de Dios y además expresan sus acciones de gracias al que está sentado en el trono, los veinticuatro ancianos comienzan por descender de sus tronos y se unen a esta alabanza y arrojan sus coronas ante el trono.  Luego se postran delante del que está sentado en el trono, y echando sus coronas delante del trono mientras cantan este himno: Señor, digno eres de recibir la gloria, y la honra y el poder; porque tú creaste todas las cosas, y por tu voluntad existen y fueron creadas. Esto se repite sin cesar, porque los cuatro seres vivientes, de noche y de día, sin cesar rinden alabanza a Dios. Recuerde que los veinticuatro ancianos representan a la iglesia en su estado glorificado en el cielo. Podemos por tanto decir que es la iglesia toda quien día y noche, sin cesar rendirá alabanza a Dios de la manera que ha sido descrita.

Vemos también el cántico de los veinticuatro ancianos 24 ancianos alabando al senor  Reconocen la magnificencia de Dios cuando dice: Señor, digno eres de recibir la gloria y la honra y el poder. Pero aquí viene algo novedoso. El cántico pone énfasis en  Dios como creador. Porque tú creaste todas las cosas, y por tu voluntad existen y fueron creadas. En Apocalipsis 5:9-10 los seres vivientes y los ancianos se unen para alabar a Dios por su redencion mediante la sangre de Cristo, porque incluso la creacion es redimida mediante la cruz . En Apocalipsis 11:16-19 los cielos alban a Dios porque El es el juez que castigara con justicia al mundo por sus pecados .

El escenario esta listo; se ha llevado a la iglesia al cielo, el Senor esta en el trono y los cielos le alaban y esperan el derramamiento de su ira. Es interesante notar que el nombre de Dios que se usa aqui es < Senor Dios Todopoderoso> (4.8)

Ha llegado el momento de tomar dominio de lo creado. Por eso la iglesia estará alabando a Dios como creador. Si Usted es un hijo de Dios, Usted estará algún día, alabando a Dios sin cesar, noche y día. Más vale que desde ahora comience entonces a deleitarse en la alabanza a Dios. Amen .

John saw an open door in heaven and heard a voice like a trumpet , the voice of Jesus Christ was inviting him to ascend to heaven to show you what must take place after the period of the church. Instantly, Juan found himself in heaven, the Spirit and the first thing he saw was a throne. On the throne he was sitting one whose appearance was like jasper and carnelian . Later , it will become apparent in the next chapter , the resurrection and glorification of Israel shall come to pass at the end of the tribulation period . Nor can they be redeemed for the period of tribulation because tribulation is just about to begin . The only group of glorified and crowned at this stage of events of future events is redeemed church . Thus, we conclude that these twenty-four elders represent the church we in your state of glorification in heaven.

John goes on to relate what his eyes were seeing in the sky. Things were not static , certainly not. There was feverish activity that came from that majestic throne. John is at a show never seen before . The dazzling zigzag of lightning lightning and deafening thunder mingled with phenomenal voices. It was enough to scare anyone. What does this mean ?

4 Y alrededor del trono había veinticuatro tronos; y ví sentados en los tronos a veinticuatro ancianos, vestidos de ropas blancas, con coronas de oro en sus cabezas.”5 Y del trono salían relámpagos y truenos y voces; y delante del trono ardían siete lámparas de fuego, las cuales son los siete espíritus de Dios.6 Y delante del trono había como un mar de vidrio semejante al cristal;y junto al trono, y alrededor del trono, cuatro seres vivientes llenos de ojos delante y detrás. El primer ser viviente era semejante a un león; el segundo era semejante a un becerro; el tercero tenia rostro como de hombre; el cuarto era semejante a un águila volando. Y los cuatro seres vivientes tenían cada uno seis alas, y alrededor y por dentro estaban llenos de ojos.

Notas: En este capítulo debemos vemos lo que describe las cosas que sucederán una vez que la iglesia sea sacada de la tierra en lo que se conoce como el arrebatamiento. Juan contempló una puerta abierta en el cielo y escuchó una voz como de trompeta, era la voz de Jesucristo invitándole a subir al cielo para mostrarle las cosas que sucederán después del período de la iglesia. Al instante, Juan se encontró en el cielo, en el Espíritu y lo primero que vio fue un trono. Esto no se refiere a un mueble donde se sienta una persona importante sino a un símbolo de gobierno y autoridad soberana.

En el trono estaba sentado uno cuyo aspecto era semejante a piedra de jaspe y de cornalina. Juan no vio a nadie con rasgos humanos en ese trono, solamente un brillo comparable al de joyas preciosas, jaspe y cornalina. Quien estaba sentado en el trono es Dios. Juan estaba contemplando la gloria de Dios. Alrededor del trono había un halo maravilloso como un arco iris, semejante en aspecto a la esmeralda. Todo esto leimos en el capitulo anterior . En esta ocasión, Juan prosigue describiendo su maravillosa experiencia en el cielo. Vio tronos además del trono ya descrito. Alrededor del trono de Dios había veinticuatro tronos. En cada uno de estos tronos se sentaba un anciano.  Anciano, más que edad avanzada nos habla de dignidad. El estar sentados sobre tronos alrededor de Dios significa que estos ancianos

trono 4 también están reinando juntamente con Dios. Sus vestiduras blancas simbolizan la justicia que alcanzaron al haber confiado en Cristo como Salvador.

Sus coronas de oro simbolizan la recompensa por sus obras justas. Los veinticuatro ancianos no pueden representar a otros sino a los redimidos por Dios. La gran pregunta es: ¿A qué redimidos? Bueno, no puede ser Israel, porque a estas alturas de los eventos futuros, la nación de Israel todavía no habrá sido salvada ni glorificada ni coronada. Mas adelante, en los próximo capitulo, se hará evidente que la resurrección y glorificación de Israel acontecerá al final del período de la tribulación. Tampoco pueden ser los redimidos del período de la tribulación, porque la tribulación recién estará por iniciarse. El único grupo de redimidos glorificados y coronados a esta altura de los acontecimientos de los eventos futuros es la iglesia. Por tanto, concluimos que estos veinticuatro ancianos representan a la iglesia en su estado de glorificación en el cielo.

Juan prosigue relatando lo que sus ojos estaban percibiendo en el cielo. Las cosas no estaban estáticas, ciertamente no. Había febril actividad que procedía de ese trono majestuoso. Juan está ante un espectáculo nunca antes visto. El zigzaguear deslumbrante de los relámpagos  relampagos se mezclaba con ensordecedores truenos y voces fenomenales. Era como para amedrentar a cualquiera. ¿Qué significa esto?

Bueno, nos lleva a pensar en la ocasión cuando Dios entregó las tablas de la ley a Moisés en el monte Sinaí. El monte se iluminó con los relámpagos y tembló por los truenos y las voces retumbaban por doquier. Era un espectáculo que infundía terror. Lo que Juan estaba viendo simboliza que Dios está presto para derramar su juicio sobre la tierra sumida en incredulidad y rebeldía. Cuanta razón tiene la Biblia al afirmar que horrenda cosa es caer en manos del Dios vivo.

Además de tronos y ese espectáculo de luces y sonido, Juan contempló algo por demás interesante. Estas siete lámparas de fuego ardiendo delante del trono de Dios son símbolo del Espíritu Santo en su plenitud para llevar a cabo la voluntad de Dios en su juicio sobre la tierra. Por eso se encuentra delante del trono de Dios, listo para entrar en acción.

Hasta este momento, Juan no nos ha dicho sobre qué se sostenía el trono de Dios. Ahora lo sabemos. Estaba sobre un mar de vidrio semejante al cristal     mar de vidrio. Por lo que dice Apocalipsis 21:1 sabemos que en el cielo no existe mar, en los términos que nosotros conocemos los mares, entonces lo que Juan estaba viendo debe haber sido algo transparente, duro como el vidrio que se extendía delante del trono. Algo semejante vieron Moisés, Aarón, Nadab y Abiu. Exodo 24:10 dice: “y vieron al Dios de Israel; y había debajo de sus pies como un embaldosado de zafiro, semejante al cielo cuando está sereno”  Es la gloria que rodea al trono de Dios en el cielo. Para hacer más espectacular la maravilla del cielo, Juan nos describe un elemento más. Se trata de varios seres vivientes.

Es difícil hacerse una idea de cómo lucían estos seres vivientes. El hecho de estar llenos de ojos delante, detrás, alrededor y por dentro nos hace pensar en que nada escapa de su escrutadora mirada. Estos seres vivientes no son omniscientes, porque solo Dios tiene este atributo, pero ciertamente están al tanto de todo lo que sucede alrededor del trono de Dios. Pero, ¿quiénes son estos seres vivientes?

Una comparación de estos seres vivientes con lo que tanto Ezequiel como Isaías vieron en visión, nos ayuda a identificar a estos seres vivientes. Se trata de querubines, quienes son una orden angelical que se ocupa de guardar la santidad de Dios. Su presencia alrededor del trono de Dios garantiza la absoluta santidad del cielo. Pero note que cada ser viviente tenía su particularidad.

4 After this I looked and saw a door opened in heaven : and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up hither , and I will show you things which must be hereafter . 2 Immediately I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne set in heaven , and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was like a jasper and carnelian look, and around the throne was a rainbow, resembling an emerald .

Note: The keyword of this chapter is ” throne ” is used fourteen times. Moreover, the word is used forty-six times throughout the book . Here we are told of an open door in heaven, in other parts of the book clearly show that the sanctuary was what John saw open . The book of Revelation is to present future events as able to inform, edify and comfort the church. John had a vision true Saturday Sabbath. Apparently this was his second vision. , Because the first term vision in chapter 3 . What would such a spirituality that how Estefan could see the throne and saw the heavens opened and the Son of Man at the right hand of God. Being in the Spirit denotes an exalted condition of spiritual elevation .

A partir de este capítulo en adelante tendremos que ir más lento puesto que hay muchas señales, signos profecías y todo muy desconocido para muchos de nosotros. Así que de esta manera esteremos lentamente desmenuzando poco este tan interesante y grandioso capitulo.

Apocalipsis  4 : 1-3

Visión del trono de Dios     trono 1

4 Después de esto miré, y vi una puerta abierta en el cielo; y la primera voz que yo había oído, como sonido de trompeta que hablaba conmigo, decía: Sube acá y te mostraré las cosas que deben suceder después de éstas. 2 Al instante estaba yo en el Espíritu, y vi un trono colocado en el cielo, y a uno sentado en el trono. 3 Y el que estaba sentado era de aspecto semejante a una piedra de jaspe y sardio, y alrededor del trono había un arco iris, de aspecto semejante a la esmeralda.

Nota: La palabra clave de este capítulo es “trono” se usa catorce veces. Es más, la palabra se usa cuarenta y seis veces en todo el libro. Aquí se nos habla de una puerta abierta en el cielo, en otras partes del libro demostrará claramente que el santuario celestial fue lo que Juan vio abierto. Este libro de Revelaciones consiste en presentar los sucesos futuros en forma capaz de informar, edificar y consolar a la iglesia. Juan tuvo una visión un  sábado el verdadero día del Señor. Al parecer esta era su segundo visión., porque la primera visión termino en el capítulo 3 . Cual tal seria su espiritualidad que el cómo Estefan pudo ver  el trono y vio los cielos abiertos, y al Hijo del hombre a la diestra de Dios. Estar en el Espíritu denota una exaltada condición de elevación espiritual.

Nuevamente arrebatado en visión celestial, Juan contempló primero un trono puesto en el cielo, y al Ser Divino sentado en él. La descripción del aspecto que ofrece este personaje, con sus vestiduras de diversos colores, sugiere en seguida al espíritu un monarca ataviado con sus vestiduras reales.

Vio un arco celeste o arco iris, que añadía majestad a la escena, y nos recuerda que, aunque el que está sentado en el trono es un príncipe omnipotente y absoluto, es sin embargo un Dios que cumple su pacto.

14 “Write this letter to the leader of the church in Laodicea: “This message is from the one who stands firm, the faithful and true Witness of all that is or was or evermore shall be,* the primeval source of God’s creation: 15 “I know you well—you are neither hot nor cold; I wish you were one or the other! 16 But since you are merely lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth! 17 “You say, ‘I am rich, with everything I want; I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that spiritually you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 “My advice to you is to buy pure gold from me, gold purified by fire—only then will you truly be rich. And to purchase from me white garments, clean and pure, so you won’t be naked and ashamed; and to get medicine from me to heal your eyes and give you back your sight. 19 I continually discipline and punish everyone I love; so I must punish you unless you turn from your indifference and become enthusiastic about the things of God. 20 “Look! I have been standing at the door, and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me. 21 I will let everyone who conquers sit beside me on my throne, just as I took my place with my Father on his throne when I had conquered. 22 Let those who can hear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”

The Laodicean church thought it was warm , rich , respected and enterprising , but Jesus found warm , poor, blind and naked . This church was totally lost . He had missed the right path. His story appears in the book of Revelation chapter 3 verses 14 to 22. Through a strong message , Jesus Christ reveals the sad spiritual condition of the church .

Revelation 3:14 says, ” And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation , says this ”
The apostle John received this message from Jesus Christ , to be handed over to the angel of the church in Laodicea , who is none other than one of the pastors or elders of this church , who in turn was responsible to communicate this message to the congregation Laodicea.

The city of Laodicea was located about 144 miles east of Ephesus and 72 miles south east of Philadelphia. It was an important city for its banking business, the pharmaceutical industry , because there eye drops became very famous for eye treatment for its textile industry and it produced . Revelation 3:15-17 says: ” I know thy works , that thou art neither cold nor hot . Wish you were cold or hot ! Because thou sayest, I am rich, have become wealthy , and have need of nothing : and knowest not that thou art wretched , miserable, poor , blind and naked. ”
Jesus Christ has assessed the spiritual condition of the church of Laodicea and has basically found four serious problems. The reality of this church was more than enough to make a frontal claim. There was nothing to praise in this church.
1. It was a church that had lost its vigor. It was a lukewarm church . Laodicea was near Hierapolis thermal springs with very warm water . April . They thought they were always well dressed , but Jesus tells them that they were naked . Justice naked , nude holiness. Oh , how this church is like most churches today . Churches totally lost and worse, did not even realize it .

But back to the message to the church in Laodicea.

• Recommendation .
Revelation 3:18-20 says , “Therefore I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich , and white clothes to wear , and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear , and anoint thine eyes with eye salve , that you see. I rebuke and chasten I love, Therefore be zealous and repent . Behold, I stand at the door and knock . If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me ”

This is the recommendation of Jesus Christ for this warm , poor, blind and naked church. In such a church , Jesus Christ can not be inside , so he looks out the door. Since there is already recommending not to the church but to particular individuals within it.

It will be a church where Jesus Christ is outside the door. A church that does not see his spiritual poverty and nakedness . A totally worldly church . 14 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en LAODICEA: He aquí dice el Amén, el testigo fiel y verdadero, el principio de la creación de Dios: 15 Yo conozco tus obras, que ni eres frío, ni caliente. ­Ojalá fueses frío, ó caliente! 16 Mas porque eres tibio, y no frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca. 17 Porque tú dices: Yo soy rico, y estoy enriquecido, y no tengo necesidad de ninguna cosa; y no conoces que tú eres un cuitado y miserable y pobre y ciego y desnudo; 18 Yo te amonesto que de mí compres oro afinado en fuego, para que seas hecho rico, y seas vestido de vestiduras blancas, para que no se descubra la vergüenza de tu desnudez; y unge tus ojos con colirio, para que veas. 19 Yo reprendo y castigo á todos los que amo: sé pues celoso, y arrepiéntete. 20 He aquí, yo estoy á la puerta y llamo: si alguno oyere mi voz y abriere la puerta, entraré á él, y cenaré con él, y él conmigo. 21 Al que venciere, yo le daré que se siente conmigo en mi trono; así como yo he vencido, y me he sentado con mi Padre en su trono. 22 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice á las iglesias.

La iglesia de Laodicea significa <<el govierno del pueblo>> y sugiere una iglesia democratica que ya no sigue a sus lideres espirituales ni a la autoridad de la Palabra de Dios. La iglesia Laodicea  pensaba que era cálida, rica, respetada y emprendedora, pero Jesucristo la encontró tibia, pobre, desnuda y ciega. Esta iglesia estaba totalmente perdida. Había errado el camino correcto.  Iglesia con verdad diluida con error.  La tragedia que esta iglesia es <rica> y no sabe que es pobre, miserable, ciega, y desnuda. Muy parecida a la iglesia apostata de hoy, con su prestigio, riqueza, y poder politico, y mientras  tanto espiritualmente pobre !

Su historia aparece en el libro de Apocalipsis capítulo 3 versículos 14 a 22. Por medio de un mensaje contundente, Jesucristo pone en evidencia la triste condición espiritual de esta iglesia.

Apocalipsis 3:14 dice: “Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Laodicea: He aquí el Amén, el testigo fiel y verdadero, el principio de la creación de Dios, dice esto”

El apóstol Juan recibió este mensaje de parte de Jesucristo, para ser entregado al ángel de la iglesia en Laodicea, quien no es otro sino uno de los pastores o ancianos de esta iglesia quien a su vez tenía la responsabilidad de comunicar este mensaje a la congregación en Laodicea.

La ciudad de Laodicea estaba situada a unos 144 kilómetros al Este de Efeso y a 72 Kilómetros al Sur Este de Filadelfia. Era una ciudad importante por sus negocios bancarios, por su industria farmacéutica, por cuanto allí se producía un colirio que llegó a ser muy famoso para el tratamiento oftalmológico y por su industria textil. La gente de Laodicea se daba de rica, laodicea 2  de andar siempre bien vestida y de tener una visión 20 sobre 20. Era conocida por su lana, riqueza, y medicina, por eso Jesus Cristo usa esas imagines en el versiculo 18 . Queria darle la verdaderas riquezas de la Palabra de Dios, los vestidos de la gracia, y la capacidad de ver las cosas espirituales. Habia algo errado con sus valores , sus vestiduras y su vision. Si no se arrepienten , El los castigara con amor. !

Jesuscristo se presenta como el Amén. Esto significa que él es la fidelidad y la verdad encarnada. El que garantiza el cumplimiento total de las promesas de Dios. Luego Jesucristo pasa a evaluar la iglesia de Laodicea

La realidad de la iglesia de Laodicea. Apocalipsis 3:15-17 dice: “Yo conozco tus obras, que ni eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueses frío o caliente! Pero por cuanto eres tibio, y no frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca. Porque tú dices: Yo soy rico, y me he enriquecido, y de ninguna cosa tengo necesidad; y no sabes que tú eres un desventurado, miserable, pobre, ciego y desnudo.”

Jesucristo ha evaluado la condición espiritual de la iglesia de Laodicea y ha encontrado básicamente cuatro serios problemas. La realidad de esta iglesia era más que suficiente para hacer un reclamo frontal. No había nada que alabar en esta iglesia.

  1. Era una iglesia que había perdido el vigor. Era una iglesia tibia. Cerca de Laodicea estaba Hierápolis con sus vertientes de aguas termales, muy cálidas. Y también cerca de Laodicea estaba Colosas, famosa por los fríos arroyos que descendían de sus montañas. Pero Laodicea recibía agua a través de un acueducto, de modo que llegaba al usuario tibia. Los visitantes que no estaban al tanto de esto, probaban el agua en Laodicea y la arrojaban de su boca, porque estaba tibia. La iglesia de Laodicea no era fría, no rechazaba abiertamente a Cristo, pero tampoco era caliente, no tenía ese fervor hacia la persona de Cristo, sino que era tibia, compuesta de personas hipócritas que profesaban de labios para afuera conocer a Cristo, pero que en realidad no eran de él. Personas así, producen náuseas a Jesucristo. Por eso los vomitará de su boca así como se arrojaba de la boca el agua tibia en Laodicea.
  2. Además de perder su vigor, la iglesia de Laodicea había perdido su valor. Pensaba que era una iglesia rica y que no le faltaba nada. Pero a los ojos de Dios era desventurada, miserable y pobre. La riqueza era solo material, solo externa, porque en el fondo, en lo espiritual estaban en pobreza extrema.
  3. Además de perder su vigor y su valor, la iglesia de Laodicea perdió su visión. Ellos pensaban que veían todo claro, pero Jesucristo dice que están ciegos. Ciegos a su propia condición espiritual, ciegos a lo que Dios quería de ellos, ciegos a su propio pecado. Esta iglesia perdió su vigor, su valor, su visión y finalmente su vestido.
  4. Ellos pensaban que estaban siempre bien vestidos, pero Jesucristo les dice que estaban desnudos. Desnudos de justicia, desnudos de santidad. Oh, cuánto se parece esta iglesia a la mayoría de las iglesias de hoy en día. Iglesias totalmente perdidas y lo peor, ni siquiera se dan cuenta de ello.

La recomendacion a la iglesia

Apocalipsis 3:18-20 dice: “Por tanto, yo te aconsejo que de mí compres oro refinado en fuego, para que seas rico, y vestiduras blancas para vestirte, y que no se descubra la vergüenza de tu desnudez; y unge tus ojos con colirio, para que veas. Yo reprendo y castigo a todos los que amo; sé, pues, celoso, y arrepiéntete. He aquí, yo estoy a la puerta y llamo; si alguno oye mi voz y abre la puerta, entraré a él, y cenaré con él, y él conmigo.”

Esta es la recomendación de Jesucristo para esta iglesia tibia, pobre, ciega y desnuda. En una iglesia así, Jesucristo no puede estar dentro, por eso se lo ve afuera, a la puerta. Desde allí está recomendando ya no a la iglesia sino a personas en particular dentro de ella.

Pide que las personas de Laodicea no se maten acumulando dinero, sino que adquieran sin precio el oro finísimo que simboliza la salvación en Cristo. Pide que las personas de Laodicea no se maten comprando la mejor ropa del mercado, sino que adquieran sin precio de Jesucristo las vestiduras blancas que simbolizan la justicia de Dios en los que son suyos. Esta es la única manera de dejar de estar desnudos espiritualmente hablando. Pide que las personas de Laodicea no se maten comprando colirio para sus ojos, sino que adquieran sin precio de Jesucristo un colirio tal que realmente les haga ver las cosas espirituales. Si la gente en Laodicea ignora la recomendación de Jesucristo, si no se arrepienten y llegan a ser creyentes genuinos, tendrán que enfrentarse a él para ser reprendidos y castigados. Desde la puerta de esta iglesia, porque no puede estar adentro, Jesucristo hace una invitación a algunos para que abran la puerta de su corazón y le dejen entrar. Entonces Jesucristo tendrá comunión íntima con ellos así como cuando alguien es invitado a cenar en una casa.

La recompensa para la iglesia de Laodicea.

Apocalipsis 3:21-22 dice: “Al que venciere, le daré que se siente conmigo en mi trono, así como yo he vencido, y me he sentado con mi Padre en su trono. El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.”

Los vencedores son los genuinos creyentes que abrieron la puerta de su corazón a Jesucristo. Ellos compartirán el privilegio y la autoridad que disfruta Cristo al reinar juntamente con él. El período de la iglesia de Laodicea describe la condición espiritual de la iglesia hoy en día, cuando está cercana la venida de Jesucristo a las nubes para arrebatar a los que son en verdad de él. Será una iglesia en la cual Jesucristo está afuera, a la puerta. Una iglesia que no ve su pobreza espiritual ni su desnudez. Una iglesia totalmente mundana. El amor al mundo y el amor a Cristo no pueden convivir jamás juntos. Cristo o el mundo deben quedar afuera, a la puerta. Como esta iglesia ha amado al mundo, Cristo se ha quedado afuera, a la puerta. La iglesia que tiene el mundo adentro ha dejado a Cristo afuera.
